Biggie was an unwilling opponent in the East Coast West Coast beef!! However, I think Puff was definitely pulling strings from behind the scenes. Puff authorized the release of, "Who Shot Ya" to come out when it did, because he knew it would hit Pac a certain way while he was locked up! Puff and Biggie posed on the cover of Vibe magazine, with the heading, "East Coast versus West Coast!!" Puff knew that title would send a message to Suge, whom he hated for embarrassing him at the Source awards, that he was ready for battle!! Suge is always down for a fight, but he misunderstood Puffy!! Puff wanted to sell records by Any Means Necessary!!! Even if it meant pitting one coast against another coast, Puff didn't care!!! Suge was out for blood, Puff was out for money! Personally, I don't believe that Puff had anything to do with Biggie's death. I would say that if he could be blamed, it would be for going out to LA just 6 months after Pac died. That was Puff's mistake. However, he turned Biggie's death into a goldmine!! Inadvertently, Biggie was worth more dead to Puffy than alive!!

I think that goes along the same lines of the point Tone was trying to make about Los Angeles. Everybody outside of L.A. sees L.A. as "Hollywood!" They think it's a movie and come with stars in their eyes to find fame and be "Hollywood!" Now change it to the 2 Pac thing you are saying about this guy who interviews. Everyone is fascinated by the rap culture and a major part of that was the 2Pac and Biggie West Coast / East Coast thing. They define all of Rap culture behind this whole story. Since no one really knows and both guys are dead, people want to be the one to get to the bottom of it. When it really was all a bunch of misunderstandings that from the outside was made to look like an West Coast/ East Coast "gang" beef. So basically the people responsible for these rappers deaths are the gossipers, smack talkers building the situation up to create misunderstandings. Some people will never get that.

I think what he is trying to get across, giving my respectable opinion, is that most people who live outside of Los Angeles think of it from the movie standpoint. Outsiders think of It as "Hollywood!" So the native citizens know its much more than "Hollywood" or movies. Real life for people in Los Angeles will not be concerned about the stars in your eyes. If you come disrespectful, if you act goofy, if you expect it to be like a movie everyday, you might get a slap of reality by people who dont play that way.

Tone Loc had his health issues some years back but I’m glad to see that brotha is still around. He seems to be rambling just a bit in this clip but he’s getting old so whatever. I came up on C-Bear and Jamal and just now put together the C aspect of C-Bear. C-Bear. Tone LOC I get it now. Everything is screwed up now. You got an R&B singer from Virginia bangin red and LA cats accepting him. Lil Wayne is a “blood” and it’s accepted. NY ninjas talmbout they crips like Pop Smoke(God bless) and Dave East. NLE Choppa talmbout picture me Grapin. Blac Youngsta doing a video in LA red raggin everywhere. You got west coast people accepting these counterfeit weirdos reppin what they really lived and died for out there.👎🏾👎🏾

Fuh You, respect for educating the masses on how the Tone Loc was repping even on cartoons. Real 1 from them days when Bs n Cs was still fighting to use that word for their individual sides (eventually the Cs won it over), but some already know what that C meant for C Bear when it came to Tone Loc. Bro didn't even make gang bang music, he made shit the people party 2. Respect for that, and respect to you G,💯

@@glenedmondson9808 If a dude walked down the street in a pink bandana/pink skirt with a Draco, I'm not questioning his gangsta. Ice Cube said it before on My Summer Vacation these dudes dying for a street that they never heard of. These cats ain't been on that street either. Quik spoke on it too. Jus Lyke Compton. Pac spoke on it too on To Live and Die in LA. All them other ninjas copycats Dese is G's. Man them dudes is bout as authentic as American Chinese food. All them OG's probably got ran out the west and went elsewhere with the BS getting at the kids. They probably came down in a "64" with the hydraulics twisting their fingers impressing these KIDS. Couldn't be no MEN around when the poison infected these cities. I blame the movie Colors and when west coast rap really took off then things REALLY went crazy. They wanted to be from California in lowriders doing drive bys with rags around the gat. You could just move to California if you wanted to do all that. BE ORIGINAL. Stop trying to step into another niccas skin mane. How you gonna let somebody bring something like that to YO CITY? Anybody's city. You can watch Beat Street and spray paint a MATA bus but that ain't the same as doing graffiti on a train in NYC. You can be black and learn spanish but that don't mean you really gonna be an authentic Mexican gangbanger just cause you wanna say ay what's up VATO!! I'll bet if there was a set called Inglewood 9 Shot Gangsta Bloods and went somewhere else some dum dums would walk around saying they INGLEWOOD 9 Shot cause that's how STUPID people are. You could be a Red Lobster Crip all you want but you dudes just imitatin and perpetratin no matter who came from where. Gangs are everywhere but stop jockin somebody else's steelo.
