Nothing you create is ever a "failure" - it's your artistic expression. All imperfections are beautiful ❤️

This is a much clearer tutorial with better instructions. I did manage to paint along to the previous tutorial, but I got confused by some of it, especially the idea that this was a light flare until it was too late. I ended up scrubbing out some streaks so it looked like rays of the sun peaking through the canopy of trees. Still enjoyed the process, but this video will be much clearer for future users.

Thanks so much for your patience in watching this one again and for the detailed feedback! ☺️ I’m glad you enjoyed the process, even though the previous tutorial was a bit confusing (Sorry about that!). If you have any more questions or need further tips, just let me know ❤❤❤

Who called it a failure? And why do you care what people say? Art is all about personal expression, it is not only about technique. I like it either way as it has nice composition, beautiful colours and a dreamy overall impression. Very well done. Bravo! :)

I really appreciate your kind words, and your feedback makes perfect sense! It means a lot to me. Thank you so much ✨✨✨

@@caileyslittletail It is not just kind words. It is the truth. You should be more confident in your art because art is the expression of your creativity and yourself. These like buttons on youtube and other platforms have destroyed the confidence of a good number of very talented people, simply because they take them seriously. Something that is pointless because you can't make everybody happy or be likable from everyone in this world. This world has 8 billion people and all of them have their own personal opinion and taste. There is not way to be liked by everyone and there is no way to satisfy everyone's taste. So be yourself and don't bother with what other people say for your art. The only person that you have to give account is yourself. Be the best version of your artistic self.

That makes perfect sense and I totally agree! I don’t want to admit it, but being a content creator was kind of challenging for me. Sometimes I felt confused, or maybe I always felt that way. Haha. But I’m really grateful for what you said. Your words boost my confidence, and I’ll definitely think deeply about it. Thank you so much!

@@caileyslittletail Calling yourself a "content creator" is an insult to your art. Art is not and should never be considered some sort of "content". It is the wrong way of thinking and that is the reason why you feel confused. You have to decide if you want to evolve your artistic expression or you want to sell content. Art is personal. Content for the public. None of those is bad per se, but you can't combine both and then feel ok because content creation requires from you to compromise. The moment that you consider your art as content... that's it. You compromise your art for the sake of the views.

@@creativecolours2022 Thank you for saying this! 🥰🥰🥰You made a very astute point. I do try to gain more views and influence because exposure feels crucial in today’s world (I know how indecisive that might sound). As some people say, you don’t need to tag your logo everywhere on your art; once many people know you, your work is essentially copyrighted or protected. That's probably the reason... why I am unclear about it But confident that i have learned from you words, is truly important no matter what

did you take the course on Domestika? I think I took this course! as this is exactly what she did! I am still trying to figure out how to get the light effects!
@caileyslittletail2 ай бұрын
Ohh, that's surprising since I've been completely self-taught and haven’t taken any courses. I usually don’t use reference photos for painting, but I’m considering using some that I’ve taken, hah. Could you please suggest some key search terms on this website so I can find the artwork(if possible)? Thank you so much! :D
