ولعلّني رُغْمَ احتياجيَ أنْطَوي،
‏وألوذُ بالصلواتِ والخلواتِ
‏النَّاسُ تهجرني لعيبٍ واحدٍ،
‏و الله يقبلني على عِـلّاتي!
في قُربه كل المخاوف تَنجلي
في حُبّه أحببت حتماً ذاتي
أُنسيت من حُلو الوصال متاعبي
وجَعلت سُبحان العظيم صلاتي
نسّقت ألف قصيدة في فهمهم
والله يعرفني بِغير لُغاتِ
الناسُ عن وجعي ستغمض عينها
والله داوَى موجعي بأناةِ
‘Umar said:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.”

فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
But if they turn away, [O Muḥammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allāh; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne."

By submitting one’s heart and giving complete authority to Allah, the believer gains the love of Allah
Tawakkul brings calm to the heart-it is no longer perturbed by the tremors of life. Tawakkul is the source of contentment, ease, and protection Allah grants to the believers, relieving them from fear and doubt.
It's a means to come closer to Allah and to raise one’s level of faith (imān) and certainty (yaqīn).
