One day, I was panicking because I lost something very important so I called my husband in said panic, asking him, "omg, have you seen my phone anywhere? I'm waiting for [doctor] to call me and I can't miss it!" he was silent for a moment, making me even more frantic. He says, "uh... [me]? How exactly are you speaking to me right now...?" I have never facepalmed so hard. I specifically took my glasses off to facepalm myself harder. I called my husband on MY PHONE to ask him if he's seen MY PHONE 'cause I "lost it".

I'd think, "how high are you?" and considering I'm chronically ill and in chronic pain, taking morphine, Dilaudid, buprenorphine, and cannabis for it, I'd think it's a reasonable reaction, lol. (note: I was not, in fact, high that day. Just dumb)

There are a few stupid things I have done. One of which, when I was at University in Wales, was sitting in a trolley at the top of the hill and asking a friend to give me a push. In my mind the trolley would roll straight down the hill on the main road and coast to a stop at the bottom. I very quickly learnt, however, that I had neither steering or breaks and bailed out...moments before the trolley crashed into a parked car. There was only one thing I could do...RUN!

Here's a story for the next part. A Hinsdale woman who tried to bite a local officer has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on KZbin. In a video titled " angry karen with warrant tries to bite police officer", the woman did what the title said she tried to do. She tried to bite a police officer. Police were there as 45-year-old Shawn Mullarkey was driving to her house with her children in the back seat. Officers said they were arresting her on a warrant charging domestic battery, with her accused of hitting her ex-husband with her car. But her angry rampage does not end there. When she was placed in the back of the police car, she decided to yell out death threats the police officers. What a karen she is. Mullarkey was ultimately charged with felony aggravated DUI (her third such violation), aggravated assault on an officer, resisting an officer and possessing alcohol while driving. Mullarkey was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Working on my busted Ford Ka's strut. The day prior had seen an out of the way drive to a friend's house specifically to borrow a simple, yet very essential, tool for the job. Yet the spring compressor in question, which was the rod and hook variant, literally lay on the ground next to my foot as I foolhardily loosened the retaining nut on the shock absorber. Much to the befudlement to all manner of creation upon god's green earth, the 'why' remains a mystery to date though only explicable through through sheer stupidity alone. There was a glimmer of a half-baked dimwitted notion prancing somewhere near the background of my unprecedentedly stupid head, something about attaching the compressor's clamps to the coil spring later on. I have time, I thought, as one rotation of my spanner led to the next led to the nut being sent at turbo speed directly into my bottom lip... behind which my front tooth had, amazingly, remained unchipped having taken the brunt of the impact in the path of collision - I guess I have thick skin and forever chapped lips to thank for that. The small pool of blood that gushed from my lip onto the workroom cement floor and the five month toothache all and all seemed like an insignificantly small price to pay for what could have been - to think it could have been an eye or even my entire dumbass head being lain waste by that very load spring coil which had somehow managed to be avoided.
