Saw that locker room interview with Klay by Slater. I do feel and see Klay's pain. But that's part of the process. Part of realizing you are NO LONGER 'one of the best players out there'. At least not right now. And it's obviously not entirely your fault, you had HORRIFIC injuries, but you have to ACCEPT that new reality and ADJUST to it. If your shot isn't there, don't force it and try to be important in different ways for the team. 🙏🙏 He did so last night and I hope continues to do so. For this teams' sake and for his own sake. 😊 Let's go Warriors!! 💪❤

i would give klay alot more credit if he really accepted a bench role and it wont really ruin his legacy.. klay draymond and curry already made a name for themselves its just a bonus if they get another ring while still being a contributing factor.. and for kuminga he should already have been the 2nd or 3rd option last year.. this dude has shown alot of potential even in his rookie season and the warriors should really give this man minutes cause i dont want this dude to leave just because coach kerr didnt give him his minutes
@pastasoo

Klay needs to accept reality and do what is best for the team and contribute rather than get in the way and be the reason they lose. Klay already has his legacy, a way better one than most players, he should look to westbrook, coming off the bench isn't so bad.

You're encouraging the exact problems the Warriors had last season, SIZE. We literally lost to the Lakers last season because they were too big. The Warriors have never been successful having Draymond as their starting 5, (They had Bogut, Zaza, Kevon) he's best as a help defender who roams, not restricted to the paint. Also the backcourt defense would be horrid.

We just need GP2 back for extra possessions and defense. We need CP3 back for the Curry-less minutes and to play with the 2nd unit. We need Wiggs for point of attack defense and to play up to the level we KNOW he can play to. And we need Klay to get out of his own head and get his confidence back! This is one of the deepest Warriors rosters we've had in a while, they have great chemistry, the rookies are playing like vets and Curry.. Well, Curry is Curry. We could easily be a top seed in the West!! But we threw a few games, lost some VERY close ones, allowed the refs to steal a few more, lost key rotation players to stupidity (Draymond) and its knocked us down in the standings. Kuminga is playing out of his mind! Saric is a solid big. I BELIEVE in this team.. They need to get things figured out NOW while there's still plenty of games left in this season and they'll be a problem for anyone in a best of 7 series. I BELIEVE!!!

Podz clearly deserves Klay's starting spot and hopefully being benched will light a fire under Klay. Post-achilles/knee injuries he can't defend like his former self but the shooting efficiency can and should return plus playing more with CP3 in the 2nd unit should get him even better looks. Despite only being 4-3 since returning after the tragedy of Milosevic's death we've looked much better with the 3 losses being 2 during OT and the other by 1 point, so the play-in or even the 7th or 8th seed is well within our grasp if the form remains. The other positives are Dario and Moods have already returned while Wiggs, GP2 and CP3 shouldn't be too far away either, so with everyone fighting for minutes (including Santos and Quinones who've also done well) hopefully the whole roster can lift for a playoffs run. Go Dubs!

They could easily be 6 games above .500 right now. And this new kuminga , Podziemski combo and things could be interesting. Imagine that lineup of curry, Podziemski, Wiggins, kuminga, green. isn't the term "death lineup" a little overused at this point? It was initially used to describe a lineup that won a championship, then 73 games (Curry/Klay/Iggy/Barnes/Dray), then used to describe the greatest team ever assembled, (Curry/Klay/Iggy/KD/Dray). In 2022 when the Warriros won the title, it seemed appropriate to deem the (Poole/Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Dray) lineup a death lineup, as they were dominating the playoffs, but calling this a "death lineup" when the team is below .500 just doenst seem appropriate.

Your were surgical in the last comment. The problem of facing the Lakers is that they enjoyed an absurdly friendly whistle last season. Both playoffs against the Warriors and the Nuggets, the refs, the league or whatever were putting the Lakers on their shoulders. That was really weird. It turned out quite ridiculous at some point. They have a better criteria than every other team in lame fouls, flops, you name it.

In that starting lineup I'd would remove Wiggins for TJD so Draymond can help develop he more.

its one of the best lineup ever.. 2 athletic perimeter defenders plus draymond?? heck thats the best thing ever.. draymond dont need a center he just needs a little help defender.. that lineup has elite offense and defense plus klay being on the second unit + CP3 dude i really want to see this being implemented.. plus imagine them having gp2 back

If Kuminga can learn to play under Hakeem Olajwon guidance in the off season with the back to the basket he is gonna be a hell of player.

The warriors had a good run. A good GM knows when it’s time to blow it up. Imagine what he could get for Curry on the trade market to facilitate a rebuild. Trade everyone for as many prospects and picks as you can get. Play the young guys and rebuild. See what Kuminga can do with the keys.

Just to add to the "you going 5v8 if you're going up against the Lakers", do not forget how they cooked the Raptops the last time they played in the 4th qtr. That is a solid proof how NBA doing everything for the Lakers to make the play-off.

Kuminga is a rising star, he should hitch himself to Steph and Clay and learn from two of the best shooters that ever played the game. Stay healthy and humble young man and your works will be greatly rewarded.

Lol. I wasn't watching the screen when he said, "Klay Thompson decided not to show up, shooting 12-13 for 3". I was like huh? I had to stop what i was doing and rewind it. I seen he corrected it on the screen. I was like, 12-13 is amazing lol

I hope andrew takes this injury time and just hits that weight room and focus on his core and upper body. man is missing so much musle mass compared to other seasons it's nuts. almost look like andrew was a rookie at the start of the season.

Klay needs to sit when he does shit like this… 2-12. My little league coach sat down when any player missed 3 whatever shot in a row… Kerr should learn to do the same.

Good take, but I disagree on the Lakers and their free throws. Good teams get to the line by wearing out the opposition, who then fouls to send them to the line. It's hustle and the Lakers have plenty of that as they showed in the double overtime win against the Dubs.

What I don't understand is why NBA hates Curry and don't give calls when he's being harassed and why the NBA is cooking the Warriors out since they became champs?

Curry went off for 60 but was -1 plus/minus on the night. Atlanta is not great this year, particularly on defense. Winning is still the goal. It's really the defense (which drove GSW championships) that needs help.

The 2 best scorers behind Steph curry, are kuminga and MOODY. Believe it or not, one of the reason this season is so disastrous is because moody has been held back. Klay is getting too big of a role and too many minutes. The warriors need to transition to the younger guys and they need to do it now. Klay is the bottleneck right now. He needs 21 minutes night, that’s it.

Due to Klay's age and injuries, Moody is the better 2 way player. Dubs should give Klay's minutes to Moody...

@@henrylee5922 I agree. It could be seamless, but klay is being selfish. We’re not asking him to stop shoooting, we’re asking him to do it less so others can get opportunities. He’s a selfish player

Bro u need to face reality ain’t no damn death lineup wtf?? Same damn players they had since the start of the season. Warriors management doesn’t know how to run a team nor pick and development talent. Neither do they know how to keep Steph in winning chances by putting the right players around him. They have failed in each category. Had Steph not want to only play for 1 organization he would have demanded a trade. The Warriors are taking advantage of him because he not going to demand a trade so they use him and not do nothing at the trade deadline

Now klay , just has to accept the bench . And it’s not a bad thing . Still get the same playing time (if he’s not chucking bad shots ) and will only make rings easier for him and the team. BPod does sooo much on the court . Versatile and helps curry so he doesn’t have to create every shot
