Welcome to my vlog of the year!
Yep! I m gonna call it that as this is the most interesting place I have been this year.
We are exploring Nagaland local market, Mao Market and Kohima super market also touring around Kohima city. We are visiting Kohima Cathedral Church and Kohima War cemetery along with the markets. What did we find about the local Naga people's diet? Well, you gotta watch the entire vlog for that and learn about this amazing culture. Frogs, worms, Bee larvae, and much more.
In this video

Some of the things that we eat here in Nagaland may be bit odd to someone but many of it has medicinal values also & very organic which is very healthy & nutritious too.

I hope you are doing this to explore Nagaland State as well as your channel too, I don't agree with some few other channel from other mainland India, we welcome everyone but the way some channel explain the entire food habits of the Naga society has been wrongly interpreted and that's the reason we the Nagàs are look down and face descrimination outside the State. Every citizen has the right to eat and nobody can underestimate each other just by séing food habits, the way you interact with the Naga woman is appreciated. The most important thing is that like larvae, bees and wood worm etc.are the rich man's diet because in every item the high price is because it has medicinal values too apart from good taste. People from mainland India were still not learning the beauty of the NE region which is the reason some few incidence happen in the past, through from your channel I as Naga request to all the Indians brothers and sisters to kindly refrain from judging and racial comments on us just by our skin and complexion.

One thing I still don't understand why people from India are so very acceptionally extra curious about nagaland and its food habits.we found this only in india from other parts of the country..no surprise we all have different food habits just like the way I find it disgusting to eat roti and dal with both hands.

Can you clap with one hand only? It is difficult to tear a dry roti with one hand only. Naturally they have to use both hands. But honestly, I don't know about dal...

People are going to be curious because these are not seen or eaten elsewhere. But note how she is Being respectful here. Being curious doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.. Be honest and think won't you be curious if you see people from other countries eating crocodile or giraffes or elephant (just an example) ? Atleast through these videos she's educating people unlike you who is directly showing disgust who eat roti and dal with two hands

Very costly. Difficult to harvest. My friend got a swollen eye, that stupid sting... ouch. But real tasty at night party with good wine (our women are expert in brewing rice wine). We have a village wherein as a saying (not real), 'a newly married woman divorced her husband as he can't afford her a dish of cooked bee larvae'.
