One year when we were on vacation my husband thought he'd lost his wedding ring. We even called the hotel where we'd stayed to see if anyone had turned it in, and no one had. About an hour later we found one of our cats batting his ring around in the hallway. Apparently he'd stuck it in his pocket and it had landed on the floor when he'd changed his clothes.
