Back in the day, I worked for the city street department. We were repairing a section of sidewalk. It was coned, taped and had signs everywhere, "wet cement", and a couple still walked into it. As a retired truck driver of 40 years, I've lost count of how many bikers I've seen srappped off the highways due to lane splitting and filtering. People don't pay attention to semi's, you think they're looking for bikes? That rider was going too fast , they got what they deserved.
