This situation was started from 2014 were the intake was more from past 10 years . I see people have been unemployment for more than 3 years . After opt again then join again college to maintain visa status and take day 1 CPT these process continuous until u get h1b . Coming the pay scale companies take advantage of the opt student the pay very less they pay hardly 5 to 6k dollars . This wil be good until you are bachelors . Once u get married real payments comes out .

2024 most of the countries are ready to invite recession. Only country that could be stable without much of layoffs is INDIA. you can see the trends from past few years. Already students are not having any jobs and struggling to get for basic needs. Using the loan amount and going in debt trap. This is not good as it could be so tough to clear the debt if they can't get a proper job and if they plan to move to India.

US lo jobs always IS UNSECERTINITY..EVEN YOU HAVE GC. we got GC after 10 years... now GC is out of question...i still feel i am outsider...i always say new genz have lot of other oppurtinities....i can go on....US voka quicksand laga..untill n unless mentally felexible..you cant survive here...

Nowadays if you don't have job it is very difficult for your parents to support you because in past dollar rate is 50 to 60 but now is more than 80 and because of the raising dollar the companies don't prefer to give their work for American employees they prefer countries like Indians who work in India Because of low labour cost but we don't consider it and we just come and we think that if we do hard work or having talent we can get job but in reality company aim is to save as much money as they want

My honest advice is to stay in India. If you come now, you will be forever in H1 visa. You will never get Green card. It will be hell for you. On H1 you are always dependent on employer. Not worth it. The backlog for Indians in GC is 150 years, meaning you should be working after 150 years or you should have US born child who can sponsor your green card after he/she becomes 21 years old. My husband came to US in 2006 and we still dont have our Green card. Now coming to salary and savings part - Unless you can crack a job in big tech or investment banks, your savings after US lifestyle will be almost equivalent to or less than what you may be saving in India now. But the problem with these high paying jobs is you can easily lose job and you have to pack everything and move back to India if you dont get a job in 60 days (H1B grace period). US is not as green as you see/hear about. Its up to you after that.
