I personally like the older homes. Thank you. It's an area I want to look more into.

Finally, someone is talking about something other than Frisco, Plano, or McKinney. The older homes are more well-built than the newer stick-built homes. You can ride the DART from Richardson to DFW Airport.
@lifeindallasfortworth10 ай бұрын
Yes, that is the beauty of Richardson. They are built strong...not energy efficient though but new windows and some radiant barrier can help with that!

Major negative is the Dart system. The bus is always empty and tears up the roads. The Dart train brings in people from the bad neighborhoods of Dallas direct to Richardson. Richardson Police say crime is highest where the train lets off.

Richardson houses seem to sell at a premium compared to bordering cities. This means the demand is higher. What do you think is the main factor driving the demand? Job opportunities, school district, or other factors?
@lifeindallasfortworth9 ай бұрын
Hey, what bordering cities are you referencing? That will help me give you an answer:)

Back in the 1950s and 1960s, Richardson was an engineering town. Some very important inventions were patented there, and then the University of Dallas was created in Richardson. It has engineering programs. I don't know the present day factors, but that is the history.

Honestly, I would go to Apartments.com and see what all the ratings are...I am not familiar with all the apartments. There are a lot of them.
