Years ago on Thanksgiving Day we were about to sit down and eat with another family that we are very close with when the front door opened just as my wife said something like "let's all go and sit down now." In walked the son of our family friends who calmly asked, "where do I sit?" He was away at university and couldn't come home for Thanksgiving but he found a ridiculously cheap airfare if he traveled on Thanksgiving Day so he went to the airport and bought a ticket and returned early the next morning.
