The trouble is - as someone who’d like to help a little bit, is you can’t trust big charities any more… Does anyone know any trustworthy local organisations? It’s a shame we can’t all just ‘adopt’ a refugee _there_ . We could help … but after donating to Haiti and finding out only 1% goes to those in need, everyone is doubtful and no longer trusting. A few euros or pounds probably go a good deal further over there than they do in Europe.

Chad (I read once) is a hub of rhesus negative blood. The only other and much larger hub is (or was before mass migration) the British Isles! If true, it’s a very odd connection. I’d love to have it explained. Chad is also the cheapest purchasable Diplomatic passport… probably gone up since 1990’s when it was 4,000 dollars to be a diplomat which has the advantage of unsearchability (in theory). Ok that’s all my interesting Chad facts.
