@blin Blessed is our Lord the Almighty Allah (the one and only) who blessed the believers with faith/imaan. 1. Take your time little by little learn; basically crawl before you walk and walk before you run (did not over burden yourself) 2. Always talk communicate daily with the Almighty (frequently ask for hits guidance frequently remember him and frequently make shukr/ give thanks gratitude. 3. Always always always stay in the company of righteous pious people (or minimum goid people) So you are not easily led astray. HOLD TIGHT TO THE ROPE OF ALLAH THE HOLY QUR'AN AND FOLLOW THE PURE RIGHTOUS WAY OF LIFE THE SUNNAH OF THE FINAL MESSENGER.

Personally for me its better to think about saving myself from the hellfire rather than thinking about how is jannah going to fit with me or will jannah be weird etc because my first priority is NOT getting into hell. We wont enter jannah because of our deeds but with Allah's mercy,may Allah haver mercy on all muslims. Ameen.

Not True! Be careful, You are half quoting. There are other necessary conditions mentioned. 43. They will say, “We were not of those who prayed. 44. Nor did we feed the destitute. 45. And we used to indulge with those who indulge. 46. And we used to deny the Day of Judgment. 47. Until the Inevitable came upon us.” (Quran 74-42:47) This is unfortunate Muslims and Non-Muslims alike quote Quranic verses to suit their confirmation biases.

The verse "They will say, “We were not of those who prayed." is followed by conditional *AND* " "And we used to indulge with those who indulge." *AND* "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment." Simply Quoting the verse "They will say, “We were not of those who prayed." gives completely wrong impression and meaning. A person who never prayed and yet.... can end up in Paradise! "Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, *“He whose last words are ‘there is no God but Allah,’ will enter Paradise.”* Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 3116 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani *But* a person who deny *" the Day of Judgment"* has committed kufar and if he doesn't ask for forgiveness before his death he ends up in Hell. and Allah knows best

its ok, the reason why you are depressed because Allah wants you to turn to him. Immediately perform 2 rakat prayer and while sujood express your feeling. What your problem, what you want Allah to help. I tried this many times in the event of having problem and it solved my problem, if it didnt solved usually you will feel the peace.
