I get seizures. Sometimes people don't get what that means so you have to simplify it for them and say you pass out because of some electric stuff that happens in your brain. People at school started spreading this rumor that I can charge my phone by putting it on my head. I mean with just the passing out and I was called a freak for years, imagine having to tell them I also shake like I'm dancing with jellyfish😱 thank God I only had 3 seizures at school and I happened to be just surrounded by my friends all three times🙏🏻 Gut feelings are real and I can't stress the importance of following them enough. Two years ago,l was in sixth grade. X and D(girls from my class) started a rumour that A(my friend) called D's mother and told her that D is ugly and that she(D) fell into depression. That did not happen. D stopped going to school and X continued spreading rumours. Turns out they were lying. Noone believed them, but l was so angry because depression is a serious thing,many people killed themselves because of depression and these two sl**s were just going around joking about it.

3:33 this happened to me to I’m allergic to grass and that went around my school quick later on in the year when just about everyone knew, my friend went to get something from her bag and right after she left a group of kids said that I was lying picked me up and went I the middle of the soccer field and dropped me, a couple second after they dropped me a teacher came and sent me to the office so that I could take a pill and go to the hospital a month later and those kids had to apologize to me I will never forget that This happened in 5 grade... In fifth grade I was homeschooled for the last eight weeks of the year. I only told my best friend that I was being homeschooled. So about 3 weeks after I left school I went back to bring in cupcakes for this kids birthday bc their mom couldn’t afford treats and kids were giving a hard time about it ( that was terrible) so a lot of people thought I got cancer and had to go to the hospital. Only people in my class knew I was homeschooled because a girl I didn’t even know said I had cancer and my bff shut that down real quick. SO can I just share this story from grade 3. There were these twins at my school and they were some of my closest friends. Anyway, they were both severely allergic to peanuts. However one day, they had left the school, without warning or anything. After catching up with them a few weeks later, their parents said they moved schools because one girl in our grade, she was older than us, thought it would be a great idea to chase them around the school with peanut butter sandwiches (which aren't even allowed at school). After eventually going to the nurse to make sure they were alright, their parents, who were obviously furious, complained to the principal, and also to the girl's dad, who was a teacher. The girl didn't even get into trouble. Simply because the girl's parent was a "valued member at the school", they ignored the situation, and did nothing about it. No talks even on allergies, to educate the girls, no reprimanding. Even though the girls could have gone into anaphylactic shock...

@@storymaker2568 I know that feeling. I laugh way too much and cry way too much. I remember when I was a kid, I stayed over at my piano teachers house sometimes and when I was hanging out with her daughter (she was way older than me, like highschooler and I think I was like 10?) and she was talking to her friend on face time and he made a slightly funny joke (it wasn't really that funny) and I was drinking water and then I started to laugh and roll on the floor like it was the funniest thing in the world. Everyone was worried for me because I was also kind of choking on water. I also sporadically cry A LOT! I didn't know I had depression (ok, technically I still don't know because I haven't gone to the doctor but my symptoms are pretty similar to depression) until I read about it in Perks of Being a Wallflower where I had eerily similar experiences like Charlie (I mean with no drugs and smoking). I've never tried suicide (this is due to me just being afraid of dying. I've wanted to die many times but I also hate pain and idk, even when I wished, I never actually attempted killing myself) but I've thought about running away many times and possibly cutting my arm with a knife (but again, I'm afraid of pain and I'm a crybaby so yeah, I never did it). Oh btw, I realized that running away wasn't an option either because I wouldn't know where to run and I happened to sever the only connection where I could (thanks, past me). I've wanted to go to the doctor's for it but when I was afraid my mom and dad would get sent off to prison or something or I would be separated from them because they weren't that bad, then when I did tell them they either said I was blaming them, I was crazy and sick or that I was playing the victim. At least on my mom's side. My dad felt sorry but never changed no matter how hard he tries, he forgets and does it all over again. Also, when I told him, he didn't know how serious it was and how I've tried to tell him for years but have been too afraid to. I did eventually get to the doctor's but it was for a possible ADHD or ADD thing because that affected my schooling and my parents care way more about my schooling but I haven't actually gone to the doctor since because my parents are too busy to take me (oh that's another excuse why I can't go to the doctor's to check out my depression), it's too much money and the doctors apparently have a very short time so yeah. I also lost my papers since I hadn't gone to the doctor a long time, maybe over a year since that appointment and I never quarried my parents because I totally forgot so there's no hope of me checking out I had ADHD or ADD or depression.

In grade 7 there was a rumor that I paid little kids for hugs and befriended them to kidnap them. It was two different kids, two different situations. The little girl I hugged was a little girl I knew, we had used to live on the same street and would play together with her sister. I was 12 she was 6. When she'd see me at recess, sometimes she'd run up a give me a hug. The little girl I "paid" was 4. She was very ill-behaved at school, and I started bribing her with Monopoly money to behave at school. I didn't really know her. She and her big sister would pass me while I'd wait for the city bus after school. I should mention the big sister was 13 and in the grade above me. Sometimes they'd wait with me and we'd chat till the bus came. Things got worse when the kindergarten teacher let her out of the fenced-in kindergarten area when I approached the fence. This was a misunderstanding. What the girl who started the rumor saw was the teacher let the little girl out as I approached the fence and said hi to the little girl. Really, the teacher had let her out having seen her sister, who always picked her up after school, walking up behind me. So apparently, at 12, I was a kidnapper and a pervert who paid little girls to hug me. Wow. I'll also add that the girl who started the rumor hated my guts. She'd make fun of me all the time because on the first day of school I walked up to her assertively, introduced myself, and asked to be her friend. She made everyone believe I was a nerd and she'd beat me up at recess. This rumor started shortly after I got enough of her hurting me and I punched her in the face, breaking her nose.

(I was only at the school for a few months, mom switched me to a new school when she heard about it and all the teasing and was not impressed that school wasn't going to punish that girl.) I saw her only once after I switched schools. I was 15 at the time. (( had moved to my dad's seven hours away when I was 14, and was in town for summer vacation.) When I was in year 1, I broke my ankle playing handball (don’t ask how cause I don’t even know 😂) anyway none of the teachers believed me, so wouldn’t let me go home, but eventually the pain got so bad that they sent me home. I have scoliosis and at the time i had surgery planned (Long surgery with 6 weeks recovery) but it was a little while off. I was out one day for a doctor's appointment. Some kid at my school decided that when the teacher called my name for attendance, to yell to everyone that i was getting surgery, and that was why i was out. When i got back to school the next day, IN GYM CLASS NO LESS, multiple people, some friends as well, came up to me to ask how my surgery went. Bruh. Im out of gym for the rest of the school year (not that it matters because quarantine). Another story! After recovery when i had gotten back to school, a popular group of girls decided to turn me into a conversation that apparently went something like this: "Blah balh blah blah blah" "Hey! you hear Hannah's back from surgery!" (Someone who doesnt even know who i am): "Ugh i bet shes just faking it all for attention" My friends friend who overheard all this: "Oh shoot better tell friend so she can tell Hannah" Friends tells friend, friends tells me. Bruh. Ive been out of school for a month, wearing a brace for six years, and youve never even met me before. Shut up. These days a lot of schools ban peanut containing food. I had a student (I'll call him Luke) in my classroom who was allergic and I had an epipen in my classroom cupboard if the worst happened. I fostered a boy with type 1 diabetes and so I felt fine to administer the anaphylaxis medication. She sat a child who had peanuts in their lunchbox next to Luke. We had a strict rule of no peanut products allowed and every parent was informed of this but some just don't understand how dangerous it can be. This teacher said she was interested in what would happen and when he had an anaphylactic reaction she had no clue what to do. I happened to glance out my window and saw him faint, I ran to the nurses room to get the injection and by the time I got to him he was unconscious and struggling to breath. I administered the shot and he started to recover. The teacher said that she didn't think anything serious would happen and so she was curious to see what exactly would happen. It was lucky that the school nurse and principal ran after me to see what was happening and heard what the teacher said. She didn't even have the epipen that she was meant to have on her when she did her little experiment. She was never seen at school again and Luke's family were so relieved that I had saved him and were genuinely grateful. I was asked to be the second staff member (school nursewas the other but she wasn't there full-time) that can be called on to administer the adrenaline shot if for whatever reason it is needed as we had about 10 kids with varying degrees of a peanut allergy. I always carried an epipen with me while at school but I never had to use it thank goodness. The child's parents who packed the peanuts was called in and the policy of no peanut products allowed at school was talked about. They refused to except it and said that children with peanut allergies should sit alone. The principal showed them an internet video of what happens to a child who is allergic and is exposed to peanut products and were told that their actions could of killed Luke. They just didn't understand and the school board was brought in to inform them that until they agreed to not pack peanut products their child was banned from attending the school and we didn't see that family again. I think that it's a controversial topic but I really want people to understand how serious it is and to remind people that the ban is in place for a reason and that they can give their kids peanut products to eat after school.

When I was in fifth grade, I was really close friends with my crush(we played the same instrument and were the top in the band) Everyone thought he liked me too, or that we were dating. Had a really overreacting friend she loved to cause drama and get people to feel empathy for her. One time we were at dance (we were 10 at the time) she took us all in to the bathroom told us she had cancer and her dad had a disease and her mum was pregnant. Some of our friends broke down and started crying with her, thinking it was true. We asked her the next day and she said her mum had the test papers wrong. We don’t talk anyone more unless we bump into each other, have no idea what happened to the dad because last time I saw him he was fine and the mum is not pregnant. Let me remind you we were in GRADE 5.

Someone started a rumour about a girl in my class that's she picks up the food such as ice cream or sandwiches and eats it if it accidentally fell on the ground. I never believed this but my friends we're convinced its true we were in 5th grade. I actually do fake accents because I use to get bullied a lot so In 8th grade I had south Asian accent, in 9th grade I had Italian with arab mixed accents, then 2nd semester of 9th grade I had Russian accent and in 10th grade first semester I had English accent and now at home I realized I developed American accent..... I lived in a whole town that would start rumours. Seriously. Population over 100k and randoms would make up stuff - example: I had the plumber come to our unit (hubby and I) to fix a plumbing issue. Naturally, I was having an affair with said plumber. Probably also having an affair with the guy who stopped to help me when I had a flat tyre. Definitely having an affair with EVERY SINGLE GUY who sat at the bar where I worked. In fact, one of those guys kindly pulled me aside and lectured me on my morals as a married young woman with a child lol. I was gobsmacked. I worked, went home, looked after my family, went to work. I didn't even drink or party. Also had a co-worker, (female) pull me aside and inform me that having THREE BOYFRIENDS at the same time wasn't a good look. I'm staring at her trying to figure out when I got the time for all this activity. I replied "If only I was having as much fun as you think" and ignored her. Funniest thing ever is decades later, I'm doing a course, and I hear someone (young lady) venting about how often she was accused of having affairs with so many men (and she wasn't) so I said to her (even though I wasn't in her group), do you come from Such and Such a town, and she said YES!!!! So they're all still going around inventing stories about how women are having multiple affairs with electricians, mechanics, plumbers and the guy who comes into where you work to buy groceries or something. They're all crazy, glad I left. An entire town spreading rumours about innocent women. Makes no sense to me.

That I was super needy and I was so possessive I didn’t let them have other friends. We were in 3rd grade and this rumor was spread by my so called best friends. I literally had no other friends and was friends with them because one of them (aka the one who started the rumor) was my kindergarten best friend. Some of my Ex-friends are currently spreading rumours that I ‘manipulated’ them into falling out? I would never do that nor did I have any reason to. I’m not that smart anyway haha. One is also spreading a rumour that I only fell out with them because I’m apparently homophobic (I’m not). I stopped talking to them because of stuff like this. I’ve lost most of my friends because of it. Luckily, I still have people who believe me (because they know what they’re like). I was one of those quiet and cripplingly shy kids back in middle schoo. I was also getting into the goth scene aswell so on dress down days I wore all black, or atlease a plain black tee and dark blue jeans. I was bullied more for being quiet because alot of kids thought it was weird. And then when starting 7th grade afew of the new students avoided me when they saw me, I mean like not talking to me at all even if I talked to them. I didn't know why until this one new girl ,who was very religious, came up to me saying that she'd like to pray away Satan out of my life. Obviously I was confused & she explained that she was told that I was a Satanist and a witch and that I only talked to people that I wanted to cast a spell on, that I killed dogs & cats(would never, I love animals more than humans), and that I drank blood. And believe it on not... It was because I was quiet that some kids started this rumor, not because I'm goth😑

I have two. At one of my old schools, there were apparently lots of horrible rumors floating around about me. I switched schools twice before I heard hair nor hide of the one I found out about. I was enraged when I found out someone had told someone, who had started telling other people at my newest school, that I said that I was going to die my pubric hair rainbow colors once I got out of my mom's house. I never said that, and the only reason I found out about it was because a friend of mine heard it and asked me if I really had. Another time were some girls, same new school again, were saying I threw up and faked to be in pain to get out of school... My friend wouldn't tell me who said those things, but it made me so mad I started crying. I literally have horrible cramps that can be dibilitating if I didn't take pain meds then and if I forget to take my 👶🎮 meds now. And usually I didn't realize I needed to take my pain medicine until I was already in extreme pain. I didn't fake it, nor did I enjoy it. And I actually did throw up because I was in extreme pain and immediately started crying and trying to clean it up, because I thought someone was going to be mad at me, something I can probably blame on my mom's strict parenting. So yeah, I have dealt with it, and it's just made me madder than a hornet. And if I could have gotten ahold of anyone who had said things like that, I would given them a piece of my mind and shamed them so thoroughly they wouldn't have wanted to show their faces in public again.

I had a buddy in my gym class back in middle school. We only knew each other in the class so we obviously hung out in class. We've known for years at this point so we didn't mind hanging out. He's a male and I'm a female. We got put into our groups when we play games that needed teams. I was in the blue team while he was in the pink. His team had only girls except him and mine mostly had boys except this one other girl. Everyone soon started realizing we always went to each other once we got to class and did basically everything together if we could. The girls on his team once called him over when they saw us talking very "quietly". Everyone thought we were together hence why they haven't tried talking to us. They thought that since we always went to each other, we wouldn't talk to other people. It was funny and I did mess around with the students in class by having "contact" with my buddy. He knew and didn't care since i brought him food 😂😂😂 this went for the whole semester

That I had a crush on someone who picked on me, I’m kinda hyperactive and bet bored easily, I went out in dodgeball and zoned out looking at a wall, girl saw me and assumed I was looking at this dude nearby and started spreading rumours about it. I was in third grade and was pissed, I found the girl and corrected her in a really polite manner, hardest thing I’ve had to do in my life.
