I'm a fraternal twin, so we're different genders, my brother grew out his hair to his shoulders and I had just had a haircut so it was shoulder length. We were similar in hight (not anymore he's taller now) My boyfriend mistakenly thought I was my brother...and slapped his ass..... needless to say that it was unbelievably awkward. He cut his hair, and I wore hair extensions until it grew out. I don't think my brother's been so horrified in his life.

When I was in primary school, some people thought that my cousin brother and I were twins. We were really close and it made me happy. Now we are both 19. He's grown into a good looking person and I am still a weird girl with no sense of fashion at all, and a lot of people think that I am still a 16 year old student. I have a twin, but we're not identical, we actually look nothing alike. (He's a boy, I'm a girl) So, basically every one in our class knows that we're "The twins", but if someone new like a teacher that come's to teach our class because one of the teachers are absent, they'll go the whole class thinking we know nothing about each other, and when we tell them they'll just be like "Wait, you guys are twins!?" and then be chill about it after wards. We also have a 5 y/o sister, we'll (Usually our brother) get her jealous by saying "Hey we're twins and that's pretty rare" but I realized she started getting emotional so I told her "Hey, you know you're really rare too cause you're left handed". So, now my brothers pretty much the only one who bothers her about the twin thing and he actually stopped.

Not twins, but my two cousin sisters who are sisters to each other look pretty close. They look close enough for one to get confused between the two for at least the first few visits. As they are my cousin sisters, I haven't seen them that many times. Maybe around 15 times? This year, we went to surprise the younger one on her birthday. Two of my sisters are twins but they don't look alike. One if then is tall, blonde, har fair skin, and freckles and blue eyes. The other is short, has dark brown hair, easly gets a tan and naturally has darker skin than her twin, and brown eyes. But I look like one of them and one time she was mistaken for being me. Here is how it happened: on our school we the oldest kids take care of the youngest ones in recess and other things. So I was asigned a kid, and one day she runs up to my sister, hugs her, and asks her for help with something. She thought it was me. My sister went and got me, so I could help her. On my first day of high school I met someone and we became friends so we went to lunch and she said wait I’m going to get my sister she doesn’t have any friends yet, I didn’t think much of it but when she came back I took one look at her and I was like your a twin? I know I'm late, but I have a twin story of my own. So, my twin sister and I went to a new school for second grade and we were in separate classes. My class was coming out of the Spanish room, which was right across from the bathroom, while my sisters class was lining up by the bathroom, remember that this was our first day of school so no one knew us. All of a sudden everyone in my sister's class started yelling at me, including the teacher, asking why I was in that line and that I needed to get back in their line. I just stood there confused staring at my sister for help, who was standing in that exact line also looking confused. I was a shy second-grader at the time, so I just stood there and almost started crying, until someone noticed that she was inline and pointed her out. They figured out we were twins and just started laughing. It was mortifying as a second-grader, but now whenever I look back at it I laugh too. I still go to that same school, although a different building since I'm no longer in elementary school. I don't think anyone else remembers that.

I knew these triplets, two were identical but one wasn't (all boys). It's a long story but anyway, I was friends with all of them, particularly close with one of the identical brothers. I was one of the few who could actually tell them apart flawlessly, so I would participate in schemes with them. Once the one who I am particularly close to and I decided we should trick our classmate who was handing out cookies that day. So we walked up and he asked for a cookie. I backed him up and we split the two he got. It was pretty awesome when we did those kinds of things.

I do musical theatre. The last play I did, I worked so hard on. For months, I slaved over the script, my audition material, the audition breakdown, all my notes, etc. Audition went great, got a callback. Callbacks went great. I was expecting a supporting role, at the very least. Cast list comes out and I'm not on it. I'm the only person not on it who got a callback. Lowkey cried myself to sleep. The next day, after talking with my director, she realize that she accidentally put a different name where mine was supposed to be. I still wonder why. I'm a dark blonde, she's a bright red head. I'm exclusively a theatre kid, while she's more of a choir kid. I auditioned, she didn't. In fact, she does n't do plays, only musicals. She was in one with the same show dates as the play *I* auditioned for. I ended up getting a very small role. It was probably for the best though, because I appreciated those four lines I was assigned a lot more that I would've had I not gone through the shock of not being cast at all.

Freshman year, my (senior) brother and I went to the same school for the first time. I look super young, in contrast, my brother looks super old. One morning, one of the more popular teachers (good with teens) passed us on the stairs. He said "hi" to me as he does to many students and does this double take, looking between me and my brother. I thought that was kinda weird but forgot about it. Went to his class later that day, when he asks me, very carefully, who I was walking with on the stairs. I'm thinking "oh, great, another person who thinks I'm dating my older brother." I quickly covered and made sure he KNEW that it was my brother. He then responds with "Oh, yeah, that makes sense. You don't seem like the type to date up." OUCH. Funny thing is, I'm now dating someone only a little younger than my brother, so I guess he was wrong!! LOL

I have a set of friends that are twins I could only tell them apart by voice and hair( one had a very deep calm voice the other had a higher pitched voice - one had lighter brown hair and the Luther had darker hair. Both had their hair in the same style since it was pretty much a cute puffy Afro)

Ppl always say me and my brother are twins... We're a little over one year apart and dif genders, so I find it amusing when a higher-grade teacher looks at me and says "Wait, you failed a grade?"

I’m two years older than my brother, so I would sometimes pick him up from school or the playground. We look alike, the biggest difference between our looks were he had blue eyes and mine are black, I couldn’t tell you how many times I was asked if he was my twin.
