Thank u my dear Maj Muneer, i too hav fond memories of a wonderful team at Jura on the banks of 'gorgeous' bewitching Neelum. However i wish we ie our generation cud hand over the proverbial torch to upcomming.. Although they were certainly better than us but i dont see if they had handed us one..... Its a slide downwards and with great speed. Just see bleeding Ghaza and then listen to the songs of 51 transgender Parrots of OIC !!!!!!

Dear sir..i have been watching all the episode which have been uploaded till now and admire you being a good muslim and straight forward honest man...however sir i am different to ur opnions in some respects ..like ..you have been opposing the govt of Zia which has been one of the best era in the history of Pakistan...i do not claim that Ge Zia was an angel however he was far better than his accessor and predecessor..what happened to Pakistan after Zia in PPP , we know well ..PPP govt including Zardarii looted this country..they betrayed the Kshmir cause etc.............

Your all struggles in politics are appreciated and the way you are explaining them is so descriptive, but to be very honest, I only enjoyed your stories related to war-zones, Kashmir Front, East Pakistan, etc. Hearing about military and its daily working is really a thing never been explained before. Now you have moved to the topics of politics which is very common these days. I would request you to please tell us more about your military days, east Pakistan, ISSB Kohat days, fighting days, which weapon you liked the most(although an infantry person only gets a rifle not whoitzer guns or Type-56 Tanks).

Pleasure reading ur comments. I used Chinese Sub Machine Gun 7.62 and British SMC (Sten Machine Carbine) but what a weapon was Chinese SMG, now being produced indigenously as wel. Beside in PMA we started with long nosed 303 the WW 11 Vintage Mark 1, Converted in units to M1 USA Korean War spit out or left over and then the German G-3 and Chinese. Thank u. Hope my books hav a new life so u can read plenty about military life i loved so much. (ofcourse of my own times)

Sir today I detect a sense of bias in your narration. PPP (workers' sacrifices notwithstanding) was most unconstitutional in its conduct until 1990. Air Marshall Asgher Khan was one of the most principled politicians and one of the cleanest. In fact, I was a schoolboy in Lahore when ZA Bhutto was hanging on to power by rigging the 1976 elections. Lahore was burning and if at all any martial law ever received a partial welcome, it was the 1977 coup by Gen Zia ul Haq. That he did not hold general election in 90 days is what the public held against him but in the beginning his takeover from the fascist Mr Bhutto (who had never won a national election in his life) met approval of a fair section of the society - specifically in Lahore where 1 Captain and 3 Brigadier-Generals refused to fire at PNA protesters and were sacked.

AM Asghar Khan indeed was what u say. I too praised him in similar words. I landed in that struggle purely under dictates of my Oath of Allegiance to The State and Her Constitution, not for a party or a pol figure. My refusal to seek rewards in war and peace too was in the same spirit. At times events led me to a particular reaction at others i created situations to keep myself in the Line of Duty. Bias for and towards whom? The good, the bad and ugly ultimately were all our own. The Ideal, yesterday, tomorow and day after remains only one: the last Messinger braught up and guided heavenly rest r all fallable with no exception at all. Thank u for thoughtful comments
