how did he get such loyalty from his secretaries who he hired to stand on the pew and lie about getting healed? Like that blind woman, and the woman who supposedly couldn't use her legs were all hired by him and yet were his loyalists. A bunch of crazies I tell ya.

Was there a people's temple survivor in the early 80's who went crazy and shot up a school yard? I know I've heard it before and was interested in looking into it, if any body has information please let me know thank you

It's gated now so you can't really see. Most of the time it's closed. I think there are services on Sunday because it is an Adventist church now. My mom had a friend that lived across the street. We used to visit her and waited for the bus right in front of the temple back in 1973. One time a creepy looking man came out of the temple. I believe it was Reverend Jones.

The man speaking is Gene Chalkin a lawyer with the temple. The tall woman behind him is Annie Moore a nurse and the woman who walks toward them is Edith Kutulas and the man in the back with the glasses is Dan Kutulas. All were prominent people in the People's Temple hierarchy and all lost in Jonestown.

OMG! This is my first time seeing this video. Just look at how beautiful and lovely and just how gorgeous the building was I did not know this was how things originally started with Jim Jones and his temple of course I was just around seven or eight but just look at all the various race's of people in fellowships there in that church, people were so happy the love the joy the peace and camaraderie and oh my GOD the overflow! When two or more gather in his name surely GOD was in the midst folk lifting the name of Jesus in ministry and song on my goodness gracious lord have some mercy i would have most definitely been lured into this ministry!!! But of course I wasn't living in Los Angeles like I am now , and another thing considering I was a minor both parents would have forbidden me to join cause my mom was more into Baptist churches and I was more into Pentecostal churches I loved to feel the presence of GOD and I could find it in holiness churches
