As many have pointed out, this has much more to do with the driver than the vehicle. It feels completely unnatural, but releasing the brakes gives you much more control. You can find a balance in this, or simply pop it in neutral and let it roll/correct course then apply breaks till course comes apart, let go of brakes and correct course and re-apply etc. until you have gotten to the bottom of the hill. This is one of those things that you’d ideally practice before needing to do it real world, but finding a way to practice it proactively and safely can be difficult.
