PEOPLE THINK MYERS IS BAD? WHY? Dead by Daylight

Hes bad in the sense that his power can just run out if you do what you're supposed to do and stalk people. His power needs a bit of a overhaul.

Myers isn’t bad because of his insta and faster vaults and extended launches. WHEN Myers is in power, he is decent. The PROBLEM is that he runs eventually permanently out of power and it’s on a timer, so most of the time, good survivors will just stall it out and eventually you can never get back into your power and you’re stuck as a basic, powerless m1 killer. And he has to constantly actively do nothing but stare to get his power which is sacrificing a ton of Gen pressure by wasting time. His only real savings grace is tombstone piece and fragrant tuft if you get lucky enough to go into power as fast as possible

By that point though the game has went for a long time and the game has already been lost/won probably. ( I say probably because you never know what major mistake could end up happening. ) His "constantly staring and do nothing" thing as you mentioned does not take long at all. It only takes a long time if you are using very specific addons and then its the kind that allows him to one shot as well as mori without downing for the rest of the game. Too often people exaggerate and THAT is the problem here.

@@UndyingZombie the problem of his power is inconsistency because it can run out, so if you are 99% tier 2 and you want to insta-down survivor that already doesn't have "stalk" you are just basically m1 killer, also pre-running Myers is so good against him, because he can't catch up fast

@@nekefirwonderful That is where you have to plan ahead of time. You know that there is only soo much stalk per survivor. That is not something that is inconsistent at all. It would be if the amount of stalk was randomized but its not. As for having games where I have run out of stalk and its become an issue, I can only remember that ever happening when he was first out and I was still learning him. So to me that is more of a issue with learning the killer. He is not a F tier killer and anyone who has been around the game and really knows how to play the killer would tell you that if they are being honest. Now he is not S tier by any means but he is for sure not F tier like what I am saying and what others like Tru3 is saying.

@@UndyingZombie not saying that he is F tier or something. I had a game on myers where I needed T3 for 3k, but 2 remaining survivors had no juice at all. Even tho I controlled gates perfectly they escaped because they can prerun myers easily. I could easily get 3k if I could get T3. Had to kill other 2 so situation wouldn't be even worse.

Being able to one shot on a dimeis an ability that can't be overstated especially because you can save it for the survivors that are actually good

I was playing Myers yesterday with no gen defense and having an absolute blast. But as others have said, it hurts knowing that you will eventually have no more capacity to stalk and become a standard M1 killer with a smaller terror radius. If you mismanage your early game and don’t get a good start, then you’re just going to get slapped by a really solid team.

I really never understood why people started saying he is bad. ( Its been that way for a while ) He is a decent killer and can be a strong one depending. But he is getting a rework because it has became popular opinion ( Once again. I really do not understand why or how. But its some strange thing people just keep saying now. ) that he is extremely weak and needs to be reworked.. I got a terrible feeling they are going to take away a lot of his more fun things and make him into a boring killer to play as.

Without tombstone or tombstone piece, he could be weak, but not bottom tier. With it, he is arguably among the best in the game

Against good players even with that addon he’s still one of the worst. Every good player will identify it takes him longer to get t3 so they’ll know he has either infinite or tombstone so they’ll locker hop

I said this about map offerings for over a year now. Disabling a realm seems way more healthy than guaranteeing it. Will it happen? Probably not because it would be seen as a survivor nerf in an already "killer sided game" so survivors would cry until that change gets reverted.

You can still loop him though. Myers will be expecting pre drops and respect the pallets atleast at the first few loops you do so you can greed them. I do it all the time when i face a myers. I dont think he is bad aslong as you have tombstone piece to get one out early

@@GregPiggot my only issue is you can loop a lot of the anti loop killers pyramid you can dodge nemesis you can greed and dodge same with huntress doctor you can predrop and hold forward like by Their logic all those killers are bad

The survivors have to actually use their brains or they will be punished (most of the time because some survivors you simply cant mindgame because they just look straight ahead and drop pallets without even a thought and they dont react to anything you do)

almost every killer has have to tunnel at some point to win vs good players, especially on maps like badham. Doctor for example is way stronger than myers and I would expect him to tunnel as doctor here too

Seems to me you that you've heard enough people say Myers is bad, that you believe its an irrefutable fact. @@Assau1tX Maybe you should use YOUR head. Him being able to 1 shot gets rid of a lot of problems m1 killers have. The increased lunge and window speed help a lot at loops as well. Those reasons alone put him a tier above killers like legion. This is not even taking into consideration his iri add-ons.

@@rcfl you can lose with that build if they're good enough. I've played hundreds of tombstone games of all different types and the strongest players can force you into a 1-2k before they just win. Almost any animation can force Myers to not tombstone, I've finished gens in their faces before and they've lost because of it lol
