They should just base it off the person's characteristics and hold them to the standards of biological women. Victoria's Secret has standards and qualifications. When I was a teenager, I was shorter than 5' 5" and barely over 100 lbs in size. I was not tall enough, nor big enough, to play certain sports. If they wanted to be "inclusive" and put me on certain teams, I would have let my team down because I was not physically up to par. In hindsight, they did me a favor, because I likely would have been a laughingstock. The difference between my inability to compete in certain sports and the plus size model's inability to walk the runway for Victoria's Secret is that I can't do much about my height. They can change their size and body shape if they really want it that badly. Stop whining and do something for yourself if you want change.

the problem is that the victoria's secret requirements for models is super strict and requires an intensive regimen and fitness routine even for a normal sized model. they're literally expected to act like athletes to make the cut for the show. everything is monitored down to the measurements and ratios. of course someone who has the frame of a man or someone who isn't fit won't meet the requirements. it's well known information and he didn't actually say nothing wrong. no one who's actually a fan of the fasion show should be freaking out because i'm pretty sure all of them have google searched "victoria's secret model requirements" at some point or another
