For the poisoning story it’s extra scary because it doesn’t have a smell like a gas leak does. I think I’ve heard light headed and vomiting as signs but most people wouldn’t think it’s that and blame it on something else
@Amberlily9207 Жыл бұрын
@I am me • 25y ago yes definitely never ignore it if it beeps but I just meant in general. I don’t have a furnace so don’t really know about that stuff

I recall where some guy asked on a forum if he was losing his mind. He'd been doing things like putting weird sticky notes with garbled words on everything, and couldn't recall doing it; losing "time", no memory of doing routine things. A few people suggested carbon monoxide poisoning; he got his apartment checked, and that was what it was.

For the second story, I think it’s a combination of vomiting and the hurting arm. One of the most recognizable symptoms of a heart issue is a hurting arm

That’s what I like about my car that the locks automatically lock once I hit about 10 miles per hour. And once I put it in park, the only one that unlocks is my drivers door.
@danaysiaboykin1755 Жыл бұрын
@I am me • 25y ago cause it automatically locks Anyway so he dosent really have to lock it

I don't like that function. What if you were parked on a slope, with a lake in front of you, and you went forward instead of backing up, or too far forward to turn around, because of some reason (slippery slope? hand break fail?) Doors auto lock, passengers stuck inside? Artificial intelligence is as dumb as, because not every situation is catered to. Also the film makers would have to disable this function in order to make "get away from bad situations" movies lol. Your potential get away friends wouldn't be able to run and jump into the car...(though it would stop possible car hijackers, on the upside).

You can call it spidie (spider) sense or lizard brain, but I think that most people have that instinctive sense of impending danger...but we don't always listen to it. Always keep doors locked.. cars, homes etc, Always be aware of your surroundings (sights, sounds, smells), And LISTEN to that little creepy feeling!

If your arm hurts for no reason, usually just below your elbow, that's a huge red flag for heart disease. Get help right away! If you do home delivery, it's a good idea to have a "throwaway wallet". Take an old wallet, put in $5 in ones, an expired driver's license, expired bank cards, and they don't even have to be yours, and if robbed, take it out, THROW IT, and run in the opposite direction! This is just enough worthless loot to distract the robbers, while you make your getaway. Wear every piece of safety gear you have! Brain bucket, skid lid, eye pro, ear plugs, mask, and gloves! Safety first! And lastly: Stay alert, stay alive! Be safe out there!

Women living alone should have a pair or two of men's shoes out near the front/back doors (for those cultures where shoes are left outside usually). One woman had cigarettes and an ash tray in the living room, full view from the front door (she didn't smoke). In apartments, occasionally wash men's clothing and hang them on the dryer on the patio if applicable, or through the laundromat facilities...(some apartments have laundries provided too) and goodwill stores will have these kinds of clothes; make them Plus Extra Large Huge Man size, and change them up occasionally, in case someone is taking note.

All these car stories just makes me feel more and more right about my safety precautions. Don't drive drunk (obviously), check everything before heading out, and double check if anything feels "off" while driving. I have a transport truck driver's license, and if you're driving one of those huge vehicles, you absolutely want to make sure everything is working perfectly.

I have my own story about this! I was at a Korean restaurant with a friend and we were sharing a bowl of beef. I must’ve been eating way too fast because I started choking on a piece of beef. Thankfully, my mom was there with us and she had learned the heimlick maneuver just in case something like this happened. She saved my life that day because literally nobody in the restaurant called 911 that ENTIRE time

I don’t wanna minimize anyone’s story, but I will add that in many cases, things are prevented because people remain aware of their surroundings. I’m glad God kept these people safe! 👏🏾

The retina is behind the eye. Where the nerve connects to the eye. It doesn't hurt. When it detaches you see lightning flashes and lots of black floaties but no pain.

The safety glasses story: My dad frames houses, and he nearly shot himself in the forehead with a nail from six inches away a few days ago. If the nail had hit, it would have given the reaper a fast pass. Always wear safety equipment.

If you ever start a second Channel, you should play this every once a week maybe for safety, this is more of a safety reminder on all levels. All kidding aside, not joking aside this is a safety video, for home and work. Thank you for this one it has a lot of good information in it for safety's sake.

I was playing with a small pipe when I was a toddler, running around outside and having fun. I tripped and it went into my mouth and destroyed the roof of my mouth. Blood went everywhere and I was raced to the hospital. All is back together now but I have massive scars in the roof of my mouth from the back of front teeth to the edges of my soft palette.
