First story: This wasn't the only thing, but it was the last thing. Throwing food away is terrible. Especially when someone else is cooking for himself.

Same, that doesn't make sense. Growing up poor and having money now means you can eat whatever you want but growing up poor means you must learn to value what you have. I don't like wasting food because I grew up poor, and it was worse for my parents as they grew up even poorer, so they didn't waste food. As my dad once said, you don't know what hunger feels like because you grew up better than me.

Now, food waste is a fact of life. Worldwide, people only eat 60% of the food they buy. Being Catholic, and living in the most Catholic country in the world, the Philippines, we do what we can. Share with family and neighbors, feed to animals, a whole lot of leftover rice feeds a LOT of chickens, ducks, goats and dogs, even fish! We have a lot of tilapia fish farms. We do the best we can, but she made a big mistake. The least she could have done, was just put it back in the bag it came in, but no, in throwing it out, she also threw out a relationship.

I think the first story was baffling for everyone as how could she even throw food when she grew up poor herself, i think its more psychologically related and she needs to address it with her therapist on that one, i think it's more of a control thing- like her whole life she never had something more fancy and always had simpler n 'poor' people food, so now that she has the money for it, its that inner child she is tryna heal by always getting and making things that she never could make before, in her head it must be a bizarre concept to eat a 'simple' meal when they can afford much 'better'. So i can get where this girl is coming from, n m inclined to believe that she grew up poor but, yes, she needs to address this situation of hers with a therapist asap.

I have to wonder about this gf’s claim about growing up poor. My friend grew up poor as poor can be, and would never dream of throwing away a perfectly good grilled cheese. There’s a feeling that what was just read was the last straw for this relationship. Story 2 and 3. Ouch on both! Story 4. How a person treats those who serve is a sign of who they are inside. My hackles and raised and my anxiety is instantly high whenever I hear or see something like this. Story 7. Hell of a way to find out the dark side of an SO. Story 8. 😔 that is horrible. Story 9. Part of any successful relationship is communication. If a partner is not willing to communicate, there’s really no relationship there. Story 10. My thumb is twinging in sympathy with OP’s finger, and yeah, maybe time to move on. Story 11. It’s so hard, those first coming out events, especially when it’s with someone you know and care about. 1st story; 0:58 it wasn't her food bruh the entitlement...he brought his own things to make in her kitchen cause he was tired and hungry but she throws perfectly good foods out?? totally in denial of her insecurities about her pure hatred of growing up poor, cause no poor kid that's ever-had food/meal struggles waste food unless they hate where they came from. 4th story: 2:22 how you treat service people in retail/drive-thru's customer relation will be a relationship breaking point for many, not just romantic partners but even relatives. 9th story: 4:30 "if you'd not like it done to you don't do it to someone else" op's gf probably would of accused him of cheating or being so insensitive if he pulled a role reversal of that scenario on her but thinks it's fine to hurt a partner like that, child stop taking revenge of your parental dynamic out on your partner get some therapy, cause i think many play games of "disappearing act, cold shoulders, passive aggressive" as a delayed rebellion of what they experienced from being a witness to a bad marriage. 10th story 4:44 again she better not be surprised she lost all of op's trust that day, and there's no healthy relationship without trust. 11 story 6:00 bro do you want equality in a relationship or a mother/caregiver dynamic with your partner that was so sad Op is so better off without a gaslighting leech? 12th story 6:50 he really played the "tell me you're controlling without telling me you are controlling. Uhhh.. i grew up poor. I throw out food. I'm not proud of it and im trying to get better, but a lot of food makes me gag and almost throw up (and i have severe emetephobia/fear of vomit-vomitting) so i just throw out A LOT of food i don't like. But yeah the girlfriend in the first story is still an ah.

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope just great!! In the very first story, good for him on leaving her; he did the right thing because she threw his perfectly made sandwich away for no reason at all just because it didn't meet her standards. I grew up poor too, but unlike her I appreciate every single thing that I have and I get to eat as well. I really don't like those fancy foods anyway and besides it really doesn't take to much to please me at all. In the second story, cheating women like this really get on my nerves because I have been cheated on so many times that I've literally got ptsd from it, and I never, ever did anything wrong at all in any of those relationships. In the third story, I hope he presses charges on her and has her locked up to the fullest extent of the law because she is a certified d*nger to society. In the fourth story, she is a very toxxic person and I am happy to hear that you broke up with her before it went any further. People in the food service industry all ready have it bad enough and the last thing that they need is for a rude customer to come in berating them and their food making. In the fifth story, that's quite bizarre spending three years of your life somebody who really doesn't even want to be in a relationship at all, but they definitely enjoyed all of the percs though. In the sixth story, just because ya'll share same blood and dna doesn't make you family. To me, my friends are family as well because most of them I've known since Elementary school and I still keep in touch with all of them to this very day.
