There are many affordable natural hair products. I usually buy them when they are on sale. And I usually wash my hair every other week or every 2 weeks, depending on how busy I am. That has made my natural hair products last longer.

i think the issue would be that he needs to style it so that it doesn't take away from your face. i think we all want the world to see our beautiful luxurious hair, but we shan't forget our lovely faces. He can do twists out, man buns are in now, or anything that can bring out his look because at the moment his hair is stealing the spotlight.

As a black woman there are many pros and cons to natural hair the pros are that you don’t have to wash it everyday, it shrinks and stretches, constant volume, you can wear protective styles. The cons are there is little info about natural hair so learning how to take care of it is hard. Natural hair is very fragile and tangles easily.

The product worked well she just didn't have defined parts or small enough twist for great definition. If you follow buzzfeed you'd know she usually doesn't wear her hair out ever. She's in braids majority of the time so she is in the practicing stage of her natural hair journey. I want to see a video on her getting her natural hair styled professionally.

The whole "mixed hair" thing bothers me tbh. Not all mixed people have the same texture/curl pattern. I am a black woman. I am also Afro Latina. My hair is loser 3b/3c however because of my complexion I get asked if it's a texturizer etc. I know mixed people with 4c hair. "Mixed hair" is bs
@MrsLevitanBoss
@MrsLevitanBoss 7 жыл бұрын
Drea S I think it's called mixed hair because white people generally don't have type four hair, whereas Black usually do have 3c or type 4 hair, so if you mix the two it kind of makes sense to end up with 3a/3b/3cish.

andrea headley, because people can't seem to understand that it's simply a term black people use to refer to their hair in its natural state... people can't stand when the attention is on black people (specifically Black Americans) so they blow something as simple as a term out of proportion. 🙄 yes white people, your hair is "natural" but society has never pressured/suspended you/fired you for wearing your hair in it's natural state.
@tritter15
@tritter15 7 жыл бұрын
People complain because they feel "natural" is too wide spreading, because on a literal sense everyone has natural hair. HOWEVER, "natural hair" is generally used for black people with a kinkier hair type since people in the 4 hair spectrum in America are pressured to have straight hair. That's in comparison to saying "curly hair care" which can refer to anyone with a curly hair type, and any ethnicity.

Wearing your natural hair was never an issue.It is so interesting to see that a country that's so dominant on the world stage has such hangups about different types of ethnic hair and ultimately embracing different cultures. I also wonder what they teach you about European-style curly hair (2c-3b range)? Every barber I go to, I have to teach them how to treat my 3b hair before I let them near it, because so far most of them range between doing a passable job or breaking my rules and complaining at how "massive" and "difficult to comb" it is. (It's never difficult to comb -- they just didn't use the right comb or wet it first).

I still don’t know how to tame my natural ringlet curls because any time I look up management of curly hair, the results are for African hair. Which, I have tried, btw, but all the oil weighs down my hair and basically straightens it. So, you guys are lucky to have all that info out there! Great video!
