Many years ago Goldie was interviewed and was asked about her childhood and how she maintained being humble while suddenly famous and she said, "We would sit on our family porch and just discuss things and my Dad said, just remember you are still just Goldie". That is something she has demonstrated through all the years of fame and never waivered from. I admire that the most in her. She is one in a million. ❤

Same here. I think with mine though we just exist on such vastly different wavelengths that she just can’t seem to understand my interests or complexed thoughts.. I’m also very relaxed socially and my mom is so go go go that there isn’t enough quality time to be had and when there is she just doesn’t seem completely present.. but what you describe sounds spot on like my sister in law and I cry inside for the emotional development of my nieces and nephews

I absolutely LOVE These two💜💕🌟🙃 my dad got to meet Goldie more than 30yrs ago now, on a elevator at the allegheny general hospital, my mom was in critical care at the time, Goldie was there I do believe for her father, and she was still a pleasant soul, my dad told her how he was such a big fan and she still offered her autograph, no paper to sign so he got her autograph on the back of my sons baby picture 🥰 he’s 32yrs old now 1yr old at the time and my dad is no longer with us But I still have that autographed photo, because who looses a photo of your baby with such a big star’s autograph!! Kate is just as pleasant as her momma!! Love ALL THEIR MOVIES!! Goldie looks GREAT for her age too!! Luv you fabulous ladies!!

I got a dress for my small vegas wedding it was black with a white streak and a slit up the side bought at a wedding store in Eugene Oregon.. I fell in love with it like i had seen it b4.. 2 years later im watching first wives club for the Billionth time and at the end there is Goldie standing on the stage taking a bow in my wedding dress i got married in in 2011 i started laughing so hard and showed my husband that i got married in a dress that was on the first wives club movie . the dress is safely at my parents house to this day :D im never getting rid of it. just thought id share a Goldie memory

Regarding Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell interviews found on KZbin Dec 27, 2020: Need to wipe my tears! I was born in 1960 so as a fan, I’ve adored the purity, beauty, and adorable natures of Kurt and Goldie as lonv as I can recall. I am so awestruck by them! To watch these ...interviews, the biggest BIGGEST take away was a feeling of Covid being non- existent... 😥everything was FINE AGAIN! Politics is the bane of my existence. It seemed mainstream America LIVED HAPPILY IN THE 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. ( though sadly, in my case, I was ... out of touch or sub- apathetic regarding the subject of politics, “ Laugh In “ referenced politics, yet for me, Goldie was precious and a beam of light. My universe was so much LESS Complicated. And there were Kurt and Goldie doing their thing. So glad to see these precious interviews as a reminder that we ARE okay because HONESTLY!!.. these giant beams of goodness; Kurt and Goldie are still out there🤧. I can’t thank this family ENOUGH!😍for taking me out of Covid and giving me a sense of normalcy, true happiness, and awe! They are THAT PRECIOUS TO ME. That’s so crazy, my dad said the same thing we he got to meet Goldie in person, He kept talking about how beautiful & kind Goldie was in person and her eyes was the most attractive thing along with her smile.. 😌 she will forever be all time favorite Star 💫 he said she was just like a normal human, not one of those arrogant superstars you meet, he was a truck driver for a company that hauled around music events so he got to meet quite a few superstars and Goldie was his favorite!

I think this is the best mother and daughter couple. They are smart and kind. I would just love to be able to have the chance to meet them. When I was younger, in my teens everyone told me I looked like Goldie. Some people even tell me today I still look like her. I even have her sense of humour. And Kurt Russell the perfect fit. I have always admired Goldie and Kurt. Not many in Hollywood stick it out, raise a family, then along come the grand kids. That's the entire meaning of life and I think everyone should experience it. I'm sure there are those who are extremely happy without that, but for many, it's everything. It's pure happiness. Without your family, what do you have? I've always loved Kate, too!!!
