PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly is counting down to the Oscars with a live red carpet pre-show hosted by PEOPLE (the TV show!) correspondent Jeremy Parsons, People Every Day host Janine Rubenstein and Entertainment Weekly’s Senior Awards Editor Gerrad Hall. The livestream will feature interviews with nominees as they arrive, as well as commentary around this year's awards.
The 94th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

Will was a bad role model for young black men engaging in black on black crime, unable to control his impulses. Yes, Chris’s joke was in bad taste, but Will should have just yelled out “Hey, it’s unacceptable to make jokes about someone’s medical condition.” It would have been a teaching moment instead of indulging in appalling behavior. Plus Smith himself insulted Richard Williams by trying to excuse his own bad behavior by attributing it to Richard Williams’s influence when Williams had nothing to do with it-which was just as appalling as Chris Rock’s joke. Also, Will Smith stole the moment from the message of CODA, which deserved to be discussed more than Smith’s bad behavior. To top it off, he refused to go when asked to leave by the Academy. They should have denied him his Oscar win as punishment, pending review of the incident and appropriate response. I know (unfortunately) they won’t rescind his Oscar because he’s too prominent, but at the very least he should be banned from the awards show for 5 years. His behavior was inexcusable snd far worse than Rock’s faux pas.

I was lucky enough to attend the Governor's Ball this past Sunday and after the travesty of the slap seen and heard around the world, I was a bit overwhelmed by how much the entire experience of the Ball has changed since I was a part of this catering company just a few years ago. The food and service (all the staff had to wear masks poor things) were better than it has been in years: I drank some amazing rose champagne, my food favorites included the spicy tuna cones, waffles with fried chicken, lobster pie, beef sliders, cornbread with crab and caviar, and the mac and cheese which has been thankfully updated. I didn't get a chance to try any of the Turkish selections. I tried one dessert which was a choc sea salt eclair topped with a gold and chocolate oscar. Upon my exit, I, of course, took home one of the famous choc Oscars. Many celebrities left even quicker than in past years, perhaps due to the Will Smith incident (that's almost all anyone talked about). I enjoyed watching Kodi Smit-Mcphee proudly carrying a beautiful rose. Most importantly I was able to confirm from a few of the WPC butlers that almost all the mountains of left-over food were in fact donated to organizations whose mission is to feed multitudes of hungry individuals so ubiquitous in Los Angeles. This is a welcomed change from decades of having to watch the majority of this unspoiled food simply fed to the dumpsters. Nice job!

The movies as well as the fashions are lackluster and have been for many years. I used to go to the movies every week, but the last movie I saw in theaters (I think, there were a lot of bad movies that blur together) was The Time Traveller’s Wife (the final straw in a long line of insipid movies). The last good movie I saw in theaters was Inglorious Basterds, way back. I’ve since caught a very few good ones on TV-The Imitation Game, Argo, and the Silver Linings Playbook, making it not worthwhile to go see 30 bad movies before seeing 1 good one.

I respect the work you put into your videos. I find it truly baffling that all major crypto KZbinrs just look at pure wave and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as bullish as it seems. The 2022 Academy Awards was a HOT 🥵 MESS long before Chris Rock & Will Smith brought their personal problems onto center stage. Everything seemed to be cut and edited for obvious reasons to save time and fit everything in before the lights were turned off on the attendees😳. While watching I felt I was a racehorse running the track in last place then Instantaneously finding myself over the finish line with a flower🌺wreath around my neck! It sincerely felt like everyone was at 78 speed. Eighty-percent of the winners weren’t even allowed to give their acceptance speeches. This was a H.u.g.e. lack of respect for the recipient winners! Worst award show I have ever wasted my time watching! I think I’ll skip next years show🙄 * And what the heck Beyoncé?? Why on earth would she (the main entertainment attraction of the evening) be performing on a dusty-old-public tennis court in the middle of ComptonCity USA??! Most ridiculous stunt I have yet to witness during this entire Academy sham 😑
