I had the pleasure of seeing Bowie live several years ago,he was completely mesmerizing,it was such an incredible experience,I’ve been to hundreds of concerts,but his is one that stands out in my memory,another side note,I’m a retired nurse,five of my twenty years were spent on an oncology unit ,our terminally Ill cancer patients were called black stars ,we placed a black star next to,their name on their chart ,i thought it was odd that he named Gus last album black star ,of course he knew he was sick ,but I think it was coincidence,I still miss him so much .

I met David once. He and I where the only to people in a small shop. We talked briefly and had a small joke about the dismal weather (yep the weather). After he had just walked out the shop keeper said to me “you know who that is” I was like no. He seems familiar but no. It’s David Bowie say the shop man Oh my goodness it is to So at that point I go to jelly and that’s after he’s gone Thank Goodness I didn’t realise at the time we talked because I would’ve been an absolute bumbling idiot. He was pleasant, very charming, had a sense of humour and was as charismatic in life as on stage Smaller than expected, but with a fabulous accent. I miss his music RIP David you where and still are such an inspiration to so many
