True enough. I really think the judge should have given the man more time to explain his side. Professional music contracts (and the music industry in general) can be very complex. She didn’t give a clear answer but it’s probably correct. My daughter went to an online school for 1.5 years during high school that was offered by our school district. It had a specific name that was very generic sounding and kind of a mouthful so we usually just shortened it to “E-learning” because that was part of the name. A lot of people in the program just called it “home school.” So if somebody asked any of the parents where our kids went to school they sometimes got vague answers like “home school”. She definitely should’ve named the actual online program. But her un-specific answer doesn’t mean she was making it up. Edit: I just re-watched that part of the video. She answered “His school…Inspire”. So “Inspire” is the name of his online school.

I think if he actually answered her questions that she was asking he'd understand she was trying to get the lingo and people's names straight. But he was so stuck on the mom keeping money from him that he'd ramble and JM would get frustrated because her questions wouldn't get answered. He just thought he'd say they owe me money and the judge would give it to him. Plus he took the album off of Spotify and iTunes or whatever so how does he expect the album to make money so he can get paid. All in all it was on him to provide evidence and a signed contract alone in this case wasn't enough because of the dollar amount and all the people he claimed were apart of the scam and all the people he claimed said they didn't know anything about a contract. He pawned earring that didn't belong to him and the police have them. He did so to get paid by any means necessary but he might end up doing time because of how much he received. The truth will come out soon enough. It always does. But that boy should continue to make music and use the sources he already has, kurupt and the dog pound. The Defendant couldn’t even make sense of how her son is homeschooled but the school is handling it. That’s not how home schooling works smh the judge didn’t even question who is going to hack an email to send a second contract to the Plaintiff. The mother, if anything, should’ve been pissed off of a possibility of fraud but she wasn’t..that’s an obvious red flag. Judge didn’t ask what the husband did to afford a fur coat, the daughter’s jewelry costing so much.. It's unfortunate, but from what I have been hearing, the music industry is very corrupt, especially with rap. I can see from the defendant she is really looking forward to her son becoming a superstar - ka- ching!
