Glad you liked my designs! The cooling upgrade REALLY makes a huge difference! Make sure to remove the rubber feet and bottom fan grills and direct both fans to blow air into the printer. (I probably should make a video showing how to assemble it properly). Thanks for the shoutout! I have a few fun project videos planned for the Magneto X Soon! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your Magneto X!

I'm in the process of adding the cooling mod. How did you get the fans mounted? I had to cut the rubber washers to get the Phillips screw to fit. I also am putting one blowing and one sucking. I'll probably do a video, as it took some head scratching to figure it out.

@@woodwaker1 I removed the rubber washers completely, placed the fans on top of the new plate, and then screwed them in from the bottom. Just make sure to have the wires pointing in the correct direction to make cable management easy and clean. I will try to add a few more pictures to the Printables page to make things a bit more clear

I'm REALLY jealous on this one. It's one of the coolest printers to come out in a long time. I'd love one of these and a Prusa XL! I know you'll do some amazing things on it! I can't wait to them!

Sounds like a pretty neat printer.. looks like it’s got a pretty good size printing bed on it. Will be watching to see what cool stuff comes of this one. 😂 Glad to see you back at it. Hope everything is going great and it’s done and over with and everything went as planned for you. Take care Sir.

Steve, do you still use the oil pan for your mill? How is it doing, and hope you find a helper before another giant oak
@MsdMakingSawDust2 ай бұрын
@@woodwaker1 Yes Sir. I still use the oil drain pan. Thank you very much. Yea I got about 6 big oaks way bigger than that one.

Chris, come over if you can. I have it all opened up, while the cooling mod is being installed. I still can't get wifi working, so am installing cat6 cable to run it

Not sure how I missed this video until now? That new printer is pretty slick with the magnetic control. Is the mag drive more efficient or more accurate than belt drives? Just curious. Amazing they can shrink down the technology to fit in that small bar. Guess I am used to the large version on rollercoasters and trains.
@woodwaker12 ай бұрын
Hello Scott, you have probably been busy build your house. The mag drive has feedback so knows where is at. It has a lot more power and no backlash that the belts have. It is fast and no one has been able to get it into this priced machine before. It is still expensive, but was $1500 so I wanted to see if it did what they say, so far it is working well.
