Actually Iran first launched slower, cheaper missiles to saturate Iron Dome and American responses and overwhelm the defenses. Then the hypersonics came in. Even if there was no saturation with the cheap stuff, it's likely the hypersonics would have hit their targets 100%. It's extremely difficult to hit a bullet with a bullet. The initial slow stuff to saturate and overwhelm Iron Dome was to guarantee all the hypersonics hit. Even the slow stuff likely had a good hit ratio as some of the local videos proved. Iran did exactly what it wanted to do likely with Russian help.

"Missile Defense" systems like Iron Dome and Patriot systems are more propaganda than real. It's hard to hit a bullet with a bullet. In the first Gulf War, claims that Patriot missiles shot down Iraqi Scud and other missiles were lies. They were all rebuked by Western MSM media (of all people) after the fact. I'm sure today's Patriot and Iron Dome systems are much better than they were in the 90's but they mainly can get the slower moving missiles/drones "sometimes" but almost never the faster missiles like the hypersonic ones. Again, hard to hit a bullet with a bullet...common sense.

My first reaction to Peze trusting the west was honestly embarrassment and shame on his behalf. But after reflecting a bit, I understand. The man is a doctor. Maybe five F-35s at the Nevatim Base were destroyed. Yesterday Laith Marouf did some math in an interview with Dimitri Lascaris. He related that Israel alone didn't have enough bombers to carry out the 1,000s of attacks in two hours claimed by Israel, considering each bomber could only carry four bombs twice during that period before being retired for 24 hours for maintenance. This meant non-Israeli bombers participated in the huge bomb campaigns in Dahiye, Beirut. Guess who? Guess from where those bombers flew which wasn't the Nevatim base? US and UK bombers and Israeli bombers stashed in the UK bases on Cyprus. Let us see if Hezbollah carries out its threat to bomb the bases in Cyprus used by the Israelis. And what about US/Israeli double-passport holders flying the bombers on U.S. aircraft carriers hiding behind Cyprus?
