What a sensational track. I watched an interview with van Buuren recently where he talks about how trance as a genre was still pretty loose at the time, not many big hits were out. Yeah, Armin, because YOU HADN'T WRITTEN THEM YET. All-time greatness.

After my first cd i bought in 2001 (AvB - 001 A State of Trance) i felt like (holy shit) what is this. A few tracks of that album did let me get goosebump all over my arms. Since then i bought 002, 003, 004 and other titles. My all time favourites are Communication and Shivers. In my opinion 2 of his best tracks ever made !!! AvB is still one hell of a DJ. ASOT radio 900 just past by, its now up to 1000 !!!!

How did I JUST discover this!? Epic trilogy, but I have to say Part 3 is my favorite. It just feels the most refined to me. Update: After several listens, I have come to switch sides and confirm that Part 2 is the best version Update: After listening to Part 3 again, I got goosebumps. Idk which one's the best again

Part 1 is the best, and part 2 adds a twist to the chords, which is pretty refreshing to listen to. Part 3 removed the funky bass, which makes me think its missing something.
