On a deeper level I do believe this is social commentary on how as a modern western society we have grown soft and disconnected from reality to the point of viewing what we eat in its whole form rather than in installments and disjointed pieces gives us the feeling of discomfort or disgust. People dont have to get their own food anymore, or make anything themselves even, and I think most people in a modern society of comfort and convenience fail to realize that they are eating the roasted corpse of another animal rather than just a piece of "pork". Yet why would it bring discomfort? Its what everyone before our current generation and society ate since the beginning of animal husbandry and we all know its a dead cooked pig body despite not really thinking it. This is a piece of modern art that belongs in a museum, truly.
