You hit the mark, dear Emily, with that Cognac Sweater. What a cool sweater. The color makes your bloom stand out so well. 🥰 I am usually not attracted by gray yarn on the shelf, but here I can see how well it does in a sweater ! Thank you for making me realize this. Your program is really excellent.

Thank you for your judicious comments about knitting the yoke of a sweater in the round, versus knitting flat panels and then sewing them. Good discussion. I suppose that in that decision, we need to take into account the design of the sweater, and especially the weight of the yarn ( 100 % cotton ?! ) and how lose the stiches are going to be. All the factors that influence the likelihood of the fabric to stretch. Thank you for discussing it. ⛳⛳⛳

I agree with Ines Leberre that Daisy Sweater makes strong impression. I like the idea of making a more formal version of it. It is challenging, though. I totally see myself making many swatches, indeed, to figure out what shades would work. Because if I go too neutral, then the flower pattern will be too blurred. I can see off-white as base color, and the flowers "rust" color, to be styled with a suitable shade of brown/brick red/rust skirt or trousers. And a well matching thick scarf for autumn. It's all in the proper choice of colors. But I can see it. That way it would be OK with the dress code of my work place.

Daisy Sweater makes strong impact. I've been thinking of what colors I would use. I want to wear it when the dress code is "business /semi-formal ", but then it needs to have toned down colors. I'm thinking of white as base color, and the second color be rather neutral { yellowish beige, or pale blue-gray }. My goal would be to style the sweater as part of a dressy set. That way I would wear it for formal occasions. Like with scarf and skirt. I imagine there could be a lot of trial and error, with me making swatches and experiments about this. But with some luck, the final result could be stunning.
