Please be aware that multiple pictures in this video are Camel Shrimp. These have always picked at my fleshy LPS and Zoas as they are more "opportunistic" than the actual Peppermint Shrimp. But I kept Camel Shrimp due to their vibrant unique coloration. Pay attention to the patterns on these shrimp when purchasing. I feel a lot of the "bad" things you hear about Peppermint Shrimps are due to the aquarist not differentiating the two and causing the bad rap for the decent aiptasia eating invert. Happy reefing!

A quick Google search says "The temperature of the water should be between 25 - 28 C (75 and 82 F)." And "Peppermint Shrimp eats coral's dead tissue, a mutualistic relationship that keeps the coral healthy" These statements greatly conflict with the ones in the video

A lot of those are camel shrimp and not peppermint - Rhynchocinetes uritai not peppermint shrimp - Lysmata wurdemanni - Camel shrimp will do nothing to treat aiptasia.

Not to mention all the different species of Peppermint Shrimp and markings/color for each as well as willingness to actually eat Aiptasia,(not all are best).
