I know this is last year, but my son is doing a few Grinch related items on his 🎅♥️🤶 childrens tree 🎄⭐🎄 this year, i 💚💙💜♥️ DIYS n making things with n for my grandchildren n Our home's plural, cause i have 4 adult children 😆💭 This is some easy to do ideas that turn out so cute n brings memories back for my Children , yet makin memories for the lil ones at such fun ages , n more coming soon to join n enjoy the fun we have as a large close family 🎅🍭🍬🍭 🤶❣️... Cute! The red ribbon seems very labor intensive. Maybe continue to use the pipe cleaners? Or is that too bulky?

You could definitely use the pipecleaners instead of the ribbon. For my latest picks I've been using floral tape instead. I like to use green floral tape, that way it doesn't show when you put it in the tree 😊

Thanks for this! Last yr I went looking for them, bc I tried making some, and they didn't come out quite right... My mistake, I see now, lol, was trying to twist the twirly pieces onto a wire, rather than glue it! Duh!!! Lol, now I know... Hot glue!! It's such a Why didn't I think of THAT moment, lol, so thank u! I'm also wondering if I could twist a sparkly pipe cleaner around the entire stem instead of red ribbon?!

We LOVE hot glue, haha, we use it for almost everything! Yes you can definitely use sparkly pipe cleaners instead! I've seen some people use floral tape as well :)

There is a link in the description box under the video to similar wire, but you can use any type of wire really (not too thin though). I made similar ones for Halloween with aluminium wire 😊
