What a wonderful review as are all of your videos!! I love the new toppings that Pizza Hut has that can be put on any pizza: garlic, grape tomatoes, carmelized onions, fire roasted peppers and cupped pepperoni.

I grew up in Chicago, and as far as looks, and the observation that the crust was crispy on the outer edges and softer towards the middle, that matches what every neighborhood pizza place in the city has been perfecting for decades. When most people think Chicago and pizza, they think of those giant deep dish pizzas from Giordano's and the other big tourist places downtown. When Chicago families get their pizza from the local mom and pop place, it's that thin crust cut in squares. Was there pepperoni under the cheese too? Usually in Chicago the toppings are covered by the cheese. Great review!

I got a large (double pep with added banana peppers) last week and it was the best offering I've had from Pizza Hut in years. Hope this becomes a permanent item. Yeah, you got hosed on the old world pepperoni.

GSR = Grocery Shrink Ray. As for thinking things tasted better way back when, remember, Coors used to be not available too far from Colorado and they had to ship in refrigerated trucks.

I really hate how their bread on thincrusts don't taste very good. That's my only gripe with them. Did they have the option to get this on a regular crust?

Pizza didn't become a thing in the us until after WWII. There were a hnd full of Italian restaurants spread across the country that may have served a margarita, but that was the extent.

Do you know it looks all good and fine and dandy but being a native Chicagoan, the thing that makes ours a little different. It's not chain with the same recipe. That goes for pretty much all of our places so many recipes go back through families they have their own kind of spices and seasonings that they use. So you may just go order a simple cheese sausage and green pepper pizza and go to three different local pizza joints it's going to taste totally different.

I love these pizza videos! I can't stop eating! 😂. (Totally kidding). I may be lactose intolerant but pizza is my weakness and I don't care! 😂 The square slices to me are a turn off though. Triangles taste better. Scientific fact.
