Looks like the true temperament model of his guitar is $2700, not $1400.

I got excited for a minute. So, don't you technically need a different guitar for each different tuning? Isn't that the catch? And the other obviousness if you and your other band mates being out of tune with each other.

@@kronosecwthey're designed for standard or variants of, so yeah - won't work with open tunings. As for other instruments, no, not really... but also yes. In a band live... you're never gonna know - if you're recording, maybe, I'd definitely prefer to record all guitars with one

You absolutely will notice a difference between instruments in a live setting. When playing the fretboard near the nut you will not notice much if any difference in intonation. When you play higher up the fretboard where intonation issues with the guitar become more apparent you will hear a big difference between instruments.@@LeviClay

Drift the Kali Yuga interesting... so I couldn’t point out bands where one guitarist uses TT and the other doesn’t? The point is, in a live setting, with two guitar players, a crowd, reverb, loud drums etc - you don’t hear much detail in anything. No one says “hmmm that Bb in that last chord on the guitar to the left was 4 cents flat”

what a fantastic interview. Per is one of those guitarists where you hear a few notes and know it's him. One of my favs.

Hi Levi - Have seen the video of Per improvising at the Fortin booth at this year's Namm? it is truly remarkable! from a guitar education perspective, I think this would be great if you could do a reaction video and explain how Per approaches improvising over various keys & modes.

Richard Henshall from Haken has had a TT 8 string multiscale for a while. Also it's really cool that Per recommended Adiemus, my sister used to play that CD all the time - I thought it was annoying at first but eventually started really appreciating it.

"I nearly bought one just becasue I wanted true temperament frets" Ohhhh so rude, I almost shut the video down, but im still here because I see Per. When you watch Per, you watch Per, you just dont walk away, you stay.

We have free music programs in America too, there are tons of donated instruments for young people to play, people act like America doesn't have this

Dude… you have people dying of simple health problems. Or at the very least financially ruined. Don’t even pretend you’re suddenly a socialist utopia.
