Why dosent someone get these old tunes uploaded onto itunes or Bandcamp etc? So many great Prog/Trance/Tech tunes from late 90s and early 2000's that are only on crappy old scratchy vinyl and hardly get heard. Probably more people have listened to them via youtube than they ever did when first released. The sound quality of a youtube rip is terrible compared to Bandcamp, Beatport, itunes etc. Better still a CD release gathering up all these old tunes together in unmixed full versions. They are just fading into obscurity...

You've sort of answered your own question here buddy. "Old crappy vinyl" is where these masterpieces live. Everything didn't used to be digital and flawless. The analog pops/crackles etc are part of the charm of vinyl. I've gone full circle back to vinyl and capturing all my favs on the 12". Some are worse than others but the majority are beautiful to hear in that rich warm analog sound but "imperfect"

@@ProjecTranceDJ How have I answered my own question???? There is no 'charm' in vinyl, its absolutely f*ckin wank!!! If it was invented today it would be obsolete within a week. That's why tracks like this should be given a fresh lease of life on a format without horrible sound imperfections. There is no such thing as a 'warm' sound FFS! Warm is a 'feeling' not a hearing! The saying was invented by some deluded vinyl nerd.
