As someone who was on Percocets for chronic pain (lots of herniated discs in my neck and back, osteoarthritis in my knees back, ankles and chronic migraines) I can see why Kurt lost weight and looked skinnier, it definitely makes you less hungry but I only took 6 a day (two every 6 hours) I was able to walk longer and eat less I lost alot of weight went from 320lbs to 260lbs in 5 months, but he was taken 60 ?? I don't know how he even functioned

TNA-era Kurt Angle didn't give a fuck. He was in physical pain, he was in emotional pain, his mind was cloudy, he lost muscle mass because of his many back fusions, and he didn't give a single damn if he lived or died. His matches were amazing, but if you were in the know, you always watched them knowing that he was on his way to a suicide by wrestling. The only thing that makes me feel good about watching those matches now is that he didn't die, didn't cripple himself, and is in a much better place overall now.

And just a reminder, one of the reasons he was let go from WWE back in '06 was because I believe he didn't want to renew his contract. He didn't want to renew his contract because he asked Vince for time off so he can go heal/rest his body, and Vince didn't want to give it to him, so Kurt practically forced his way out, and then subsequently went to TNA because of the lighter schedule. But yeah like everyone said, you definitely need to check out Kurt's matches from TNA because not only were they at the height of "Perc Angle," but because they were all bangers

The guy was high as a kite and it looked like he was losing his damn mind or he had already lost it. And with the environment in the TNA locker room, surrounded by heavy drinkers like Nash and drug users (Jeff Hardy) he was not gonna get better.
