Well you have to get your murder targets alone somehow. The o'll wink, flutter of the eyelashes and charm person is a pretty good way to do it. Plus it makes you better with weapons than a sorcerer which is important for improving ones visceral painting skills and lets you gain expertise in said visceral painting performance and stealth. I assure you bards make for excellent serial killers
