Things I specially loved in this animatic: -the aggressive shaking for the flute solo -the beautiful sequence for the double "I rolled a 1" part - that was the most unique way to draw that from the ones I've seen so far -the grim shadow on his face when it turns morbid -the body doing all those tricks

Fun fact Assuming fair dice rolling 3 20's in a row is a one in ~8,000 event. The odds of two players bolth rolling ones while the third gets three 20's as what happened here is ... Ugh I dont know remember how to calculate it exactly... Very small, like worse than 1 in 100,000

To all those saying that viscous mockery doesn’t work that way, let me counter with this: D&D is a Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TRPG), as such there are instances in which the games rules may be vetoed by the dm for the sake of a more interesting RP experience. I personally would absolutely let a spell entirely based on *mocking someone* hit regardless of the opponent’s saving throw if the player casting it came up with a brutal enough insult. Therefore: I see no issues here

Exactly how it feels to roll consecutive nat 20's, can confirm. I had a bit in a campaign where I was given the ability to use two Bigby's Hands like Gaster from Glitchtale and managed to not only split a giant in half by ripping it apart with a nat 20 strength check (with a -2 in my modifier), but also rolled another nat 20 on my next turn to hold it apart so it couldn't fuse itself back together while my party kept wailing on it to burn one of its halves to death.
