You'll love it. Just need your battery and good to go. That motor and kit, comes with everything you need. You have the power pole stern like I do, so the mount is meant to line up. And it's very light. Stay safe bro.. 🙏 🎣

Thank you! Yes, the rivet didn't expand before the mandrel snapped off. I replaced it and have not had any issues

I just got a perception 11/5 and I'm looking at doing a lot of the same things that you did. I was curious what pound thrust trolling motor is this? Because it moved you pretty well

The shaft on your motor is leaning forward when producing thrust. This needs to be adjusted so that the shaft leans slightly aft when static and not producing thrust. When adjusted this way, the shaft should be vertical when making thrust and not leaning so far forward as you have it now.

That is correct I noticed that day when I got back to shore that I made that mistake by not locking it in the correct spot.

Great job on that Setup. I have a my Impulse 10.5 which measures actually 10.9' I love my hand steering with the blade rudder. I run the NK-180 motor, with a my fin drive. But I added foot braces incase, I ever want to change my motor to steer, with the foot pedals. Plus I can rest my feet on long runs. I used the scotty well nuts. I like the rubber seal, and how it expads behind the screw. But rivets are strong. It may be the pedal track, making it loose. Cool vessel there 😎 🎣 🙏

What does it fish like if your trying to fish to hold you in place.

I find it moves quickly and easily. Slight movements of my feet make good direction changes. Also switching forward and reverse. To hold in one spot I would suggest an anchor
