I regularly look at situations from the other person’s perspective but I’ve never thought to come at it from a third person perspective. I just tried regarding a situation with my sister. I do understand her perspective but I disagree with it. But from an objective point of view I feel it’s pretty clear who is being unreasonable and for some reason that helps me feel more understood. I honestly do feel better about it even though my view of her isn’t a great deal different. Thank you for these videos! I can’t tell you how much they are helping me relearn to think clearly. I always felt “positive” thinking was a bit too ignorant and rose colored glasses, but NLP feels much more balanced and sensible.

Such a great idea to have a video after the text. I got lost a bit in the text and the video gave me great clarity. Thanks Mike

MIke...as an NLP Master-Prac I find your presentation really clear and easy to understand. Perhaps the best I've seen, so thanks for doing this. And, I have a question as I'm exploring a number of other perceptual positions, perspectives. In Advaita (non duality) there is the understanding that as a person is in position number 1, there is also an observer 'in the background' that represents the higher self. or higher awareness. This is not the same as 'dissociated' (being out of your body and observing yourself in position number 1. It is...within position 1, there is 'the observer' ---in the background---that has been observing your life from day one. It is, in my understanding, a neutral observer that does very little judging but simply observes. Often people connect with this observer while meditating or even day-dreaming. So my question is...have you considered this or worked with it in any way? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for making this wonderful video. David
