Hi everybody! I'm curious about when this competition as been film because at 39:21 we saw a fish pasing by with a white lure stuck in the mouth! The thing is I was fishing this spot on august 2023 with 3 friends of mine and we saw a pike took a lost white soft swimbait on a rock at this exact same place! and after that he was cruising around with the lure on the side of his mouth! I bet it is the same fish! Crazy

Cool. I live in the area where Eholotes were fishing. Do a lot of fishing and camping. That spot is amazing but fished a lot compared to the rest of the area. Amazing for pike. Good for perch but definitely not the best.

Love that some of the teams fish in their home countries/waters. Why wouldnt all teams do that?

It’s a good question, different strategies influence this. Some teams have better knowledge of their home turf and will have better over all point capacity in their backyard. Others may want to target only one type of point like Big Fish and that may require you to change country. It’s a very complex game and winning Perch Pro requires a lot since all teams are very skilled technically. Also the dates when the team fish are fixed, these dates may not fit your home water and require you to travel.

I disagree. It brings a while new meaning to fishing competition when there is a part with no electronics. And also fishermen who don't have boats probably enjoy seeing the kind of fishing they can relate to.

I feel more connected to all the fisherman in those competition when no electronics are involved instead of seeing them on their 100k boat with high end technology. Most people dont have boats with such an amount of electronic nor the option to fish from boat ( me and my region for example ).
