So wonderfully (hopefully genuinely) in tune that sometimes you can hear the overtones so clearly it sounds like a piccolo (flute) on top!

You must have an alto clarinet to be classified as a true clarinet nerd.

Are there four B-flat clarinet parts ? This piece sounds fun wish I had a chance to play it back in my hs and college days.
@markbrown13242 жыл бұрын
Ephraim, I believe there are the 3 usual parts, but then there is a separate part for the solo clarinet.
@jophusandrew19942 жыл бұрын
There are 3 and a solo part. But the three parts each have some divisis somewhere. You can find the parts for the piece for free on IMSLP! That's how I made this.

@@jophusandrew1994 can you provide the link please? My friends and I are in desperate need of a quintet to play for a performance but all we find are quartets and octets with a freaking alto clarinet and contrabass its really annoying
@heartz4selena5 ай бұрын
there actually is a fourth
@allisonrookey74194 жыл бұрын
Is there any way this arrangement could be linked?
@jophusandrew19944 жыл бұрын
Hi! It's actually not an arrangement at all. These are all clarinet parts from the original score, which can be found on IMSLP.
who else is here from asl? distance learning haha its Michael btw

If you don't mind sharing your secrets, how do you keep yourself in tempo with your other recordings? Do you use a visual metronome or do you listen to your previous recordings?
@jophusandrew1994 Жыл бұрын
I use a click track in headphones while I record. As I build the track and add more layers, I use the metronome and the previous tracks for tempo.

As a sax player, honestly clarinet ensemble > sax ensemble
@carringtonpilon13104 жыл бұрын
As a clarinet player, I disagree but I appreciate the love!
@jacobbrown23614 жыл бұрын
As a player of sax and clarinet they both are good in their own way
@jakebramhall34794 жыл бұрын
As a player of both I can confirm that it depends on the song's playability for the instrument and the band's ability. Grainger's songs sound amazing on clarinet but at the same time there are a lot of other compositions that sound way better on sax.

As a brass player and guitarist, I feel the clairnets are horribly underrated!

Hey! Jesus loves you! He died for your sins on the cross and rose again 3 days later! All you need to do to accept Gods gift is believe in him and what he did, And you need to repent(turn from sin and follow Jesus) and ask him for forgiveness in prayer. And remember that Jesus is God! He is three in one, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit! Have a good day!:)
