In the first book only Zeus and Poseidon were on Olympus. I believe it's at the end of book 3 that all the Olympians got together for the first time. (with Percy there at least)

Yup, they're usually doing their own thing and only get together for important meetings by themselves or winter solstice to meet the demigods and discuss some matters

If you go back and look at when they Iris message Luke annabeth gets a look on her face like she is suspicious of Luke I can’t wait to watch the second season

I assume Olympus was empty because Zeus was at war with Poseidon Also, it sounds like there's this soft repetitive noise almost like an owl hooting or an ocarina when Luke's dark side is being shown. I really like it. Reminds me a bit of Prowler's noise, Azula's chime, or Captain Kuro's distorted cat yowl in the LA One Piece. It started sparsely when Percy was piecing everything together, then became consistent after Luke basically admitted everything and tried recruiting Percy. If it is supposed to be like an owl hooting, my fellow book readers will understand that'd be some insane-ass foreshadowing. At least, I hope it's a character noise and not just there to make the score sound cooler, that'd make me sad.

Fun fact! Backbiter also creates portals in the books, it's how Luke escapes in that scene, but it's only in a single line so I saw many ppl thinking it was a show-only addition to the weapon when it was there all along and just went over our heads 😅

How about the monsters that entered the camp, wasn't it because of backbiter? I kinda forgot the specific event or the book where it happened.

@@hikari9262 the monster entered camp at the end of capture the flag. Monsters aren't allowed to enter unless someone gives them permission. It wasn't mentioned if Backbiter got it in there, but it's a possibility!

@@heyitsmira17 There was an event not in Book 1 where monsters emerged from the woods and the demigods fought them.

I think Olympus was empty for two reasons. 1. war between zeus and poseidon 2. practical reason: they are most likely played by some good actors and they are not cheap. Or they didn't find the right ones.
