@igot0enemies cause it might unveil the interesting thing the book contains. It's much interesting to read the whole book and find things out by yourselves. It won't be much fun if you read the back page. And, it can have spoilers too that will spoil the whole reasoning of reading the book.

Are Percy Jackson and the Greek gods and Percy Jackson and the Greek heroes part of the series under Percy Jackson and the Olympians?

They aren’t part of the series but they are from the same universe. It’s Percy writing his version of the greek myths with his unique perspective and fun jests at the gods and hero’s. They do hold litttle throwbacks to the original series and the other series (hero’s of Olympus and trials of Apollo.)

It's perfect for 12 year olds. There's not really any hard words or anything you wouldnt want a child to read. The sentences are short and to the point. They may look like big books but you can read them pretty fast.
