The looks don’t really matter, it’s the acting and personality of the actors that bring the characters to life :)

rick said himself looks don't matter. as long as the storyline is faithful, and leah plays the part amazhangly, it's going to be a good adaptation. just because she's not how you imagined her doesn't mean she's not the same character. the hair is fine, because aryan and walker don't have the same hair as percy and grover, so why does leah matter? annabeth's skin tone isn't specifically mentioned, she's just said to be tan/dark, which could mean either.
