i cant explain it but i’m so proud of them for having a bigger budget and filming with bigger, more practical sets because it means they are getting the funding and hype they deserve and its so exciting!!

Annabeth canonically has a cell phone for emergencies so I think that's a good theory! Otherwise they could easily Iris message Sally to drive them to Port Jefferson

I'm honestly fine if they add more of Sally into the show cause that will give them an opportunity to explore her and Annabeth's dynamic which is something we don't really get to see much of in the book. It's also possible that they change where they exit the Sea of Monsters from Miami to Long Island, like they did with the pearls in season one. Which might explain why Aryan and Dior were on set the same day.

I think that another reason Clarisse and Percy could be fighting in the show (I like your theory about it happening after the hydra) is that not only are they stealing her quest, but literally the whole crew thought she was the traitor who helped Ares. I would literally be so mad. Obviously, they never had her find out and I don't know if that's a detail that will translate over into this season, but it was something I was thinking about.

I also wonder if the scenes in Montauk could also be Sally and Poseidon flashbacks since it’s established in the show that they met in Montauk. I feel like they could do that since we are also getting Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth flashbacks, they could add some Sally and Poseidon flashbacks in there too, and they can make it a stylistic/writing choice to make this season even more flashback heavy. It would add a lot to the deeper meanings of the season and the narrative as a whole.

I don’t think charlie and dior were filming anything that day because they both seem wearing regular clothes and just seem be visiting. One thing that gave it away was dior wearing white off the shoulder white sweater and white bow in her hair and I don’t think Clarisse would wear any of that lol 😂

I know budget increases are exciting but it also worries me a little bit. If the budget is high and the viewership for season 2 isn't as high as season 1 than the chances for cancellation increase.
