No shame in him not being able to find success one weight class above, it’s not his fault his body is only built for a singular weight class. Izzy still has more to prove in his own weight class (he’s gotta avenge his loss to Strickland) so I highly doubt he’s even thinking about another shot at 205 rn.

It’s not overlooked. It actually shows how good Adesanya actually is. Alex isn’t more talented than Izzy he just hits harder. Izzy won most of the rounds against Alex and lasted 5 rounds with him in his UFC loss while these light heavy weights can barely make it to the 2nd round. Alex is a true 205er and he shouldn’t have been fighting at 185 anyway.

To say he is not more talented than Izzy is ridiculous because despite Izzy being talented, he fell short and is only a champ in 1 sport in 1 division. Not to mention him being "more talented" couldn't save him from losing 3 consecutive times to the guy who is "less talented". He may be a big guy but he fought at 185 most of his kb career, it is arguable he's also a true middleweight.
