This was the biggest difference (time wise) in the entire lap. Perez may have been faster in Degner 1, but Verstappen's slightly slower approach gave him a far better exit at Degner 2 gaining him 0.20 seconds before T13 as well. F1 tempo has all of the telemetry graphs with some awesome info.

They were quite accurate. Just in different refresh rate. Which telemetry did you get 76kph from? --Edited-- I see you mentioned F1 tempo. It uses the same api source as Perez's telemetry does. You gotta zoom in on F1 tempo's display to better find those minimum speeds. As for Verstappen's telemetry (the later part) on this vid it's another story, but it's even more accurate.

Cant really compare the two telemetries, Checkos is more filtered and lagging, deflating top speeds somewhat and significantly inflating entry/apex speeds. So they probably went very close speed wise on that degna as well as spoon, we can see it by comparing distances or engine rpms that seem to have less filtering... Verstappens typical "entry over exit" bit him in T11 where Checko got most of his advantage. So yeah, beast mode absolutely! But thumbnails kinda misleading, like they all are, sigh.

how can it be?! Checo was faster in every corner )except for Sector 1 corners), but still his time is slower

Verstappen was taking it easy. He knows he has five tenths in the bag still.

How is Max slower everywhere but taking less to complete a lap? Also, Max found time at Suzaka in these 6 months, but in some corners he was slower in stead of faster. Not happy with the setup all weekend, but just wins. Probably cruising while Perez was pushing. Is the way Perez finds speed perhaps heavy on the tyres?

You saw how ric fans acted all smug and want Checo out? They are so silent. But once Checo, made another mistake (hope not), those chumps will be out in force again.

I think Perez has more understeer, and more higher wing angle.

Perez saw the stray he caught from you in your last Degner comparison video and made it his mission to prove you wrong lmao

That front wing camera angle is awful! The T-cam is nearly perfect (especially on Kevin Magnussen's car this weekend). Why tf is F1 trying to change it on some cars?

Max was faster in T4-T6 in 2023. Seems like perez wasnt really any better, max was just slower this year😅

Verstappens significantly lower speed through T5 is what surprised me most. Better car and slower through T5? This wasn't his best weekend!
